Topic: Worship
But the hour cometh, and now is, when the true worshippers shall worship the Father in spirit and in truth: for the Father seeketh such to worship him. (John 4:23 KJV)
I’d like to look another aspect of becoming true worshippers. In previous message, I discussed this subject as a body of the Church. They are two kinds of Church—false and true representation of Jesus Christ.
Today, I’d want to go deeper into its subject. Paul said that our bodies are to be living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God, which is our reasonable service (Romans 12:1). Of course, Paul didn’t mean to burn our dead bodies into fire as Pagan celebrates the funeral. But, he meant that we need to give all ourselves to God and let Him to be our boss. We need to trust Him for everything.
I love what Solomon wrote in Proverbs 3:5-6, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.” When we rely on God, He will take us to right path. Devil tries to take us to the road of destruction, but God takes us to the road of construction to the fullness of life. Devil tries to take us down to the pit of Hell, but God will take us up to His palace.
When I worship God through the song of praise and worship, it gives me strengths to live another day for God. When I work another day for God, it gives me another to reason to work for Him. Our jobs are to be for God and not for ourselves. We should honor Him and not ourselves to be lifted up above Him. Satan tried to lift himself up onto the throne of God, but he failed and dishonored God.
We need to re-exam our hearts how we should honor God. Many people failed from encouragement, because they looked wrong stuff. Our country is in mess because people are looking for wrong stuff. Many people are still sad as they celebrated the reminder of the tragedy because they keep look back to the event.
Why not to start your day to glorify God.
