Active God’s Words
Topic: Word of God

So shall my word be that goeth forth out of my mouth: it shall not return unto me void, but it shall accomplish that which I please, and it shall prosper in the thing whereto I sent it. (Isaiah 55:11 KJV)

Over the years, people misused the word handicap, which they refer to the people with physically challenges. If we would break the word into three parts, we will clearly see that the word doesn’t relate to the person with disability, but it relates to the beggar. Even today, we may misuse God’s Words for our purposes and not His. As we just read Isaiah 55:11, the Bible, which we are holding, is the map of God’s ultimate plan for each of us and the world. Even Satan conquered this world at Garden of Eden (Genesis 3), God has not finished the earth yet until He would say the final words.

What is God’s will for your life? Even we may struggle to find the purpose of God for our lives, God has provided the manual book to each of us, the Bible (Basic Information Before Leaving the Earth). It’s just not filled with ancient historical events. The Bible, which we are holding, is very active to our lives. It gives us the healthy tip, life application, mathematics, science, biology, earth history, music lesson, and God’s future plan for this world. Many people may think this world will be annihilated permanently and God would recreate the earth. Even though God will bring the judgment against this world, He will not destroy it permanently. He will redesign the things that He already has created.

In Genesis 1, we read how the whole universe formed. It was by God’s spoken words. No wonder why Apostle John wrote, “In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God (John 1:1).” Scientists cannot prove His handiwork by the Big Bang Theory. If there would be Big Bang before the explosion of the atom, we would have difficult to answer on how we can live on the earth.

The words that God puts in our lives have mission and value. We need to share His words to the people. That was why there was Pentecost after Jesus ascent Himself to Heaven (see Acts 2). The twelve disciples were too comfortable in the small house. The revival didn’t start at the one of houses, but in the community. Even though we need to be gathered at the church to worship God and train ourselves, we also need to spread out to share the Gospel of Jesus

But we cannot do it until we have relationship with God through Jesus Christ. Do you have your relationship with the Heavenly Father? If not, I like to encourage you to develop your personal relationship with Jesus Christ today. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God. What is the Bible Mean to You?
Topic: Word of God

For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. (Hebrews 4:12 KJV)

I believe that most today’s Christians may spend not much of time reading God’s Words on regular basis because we nowadays are in computerize age. We can put our food in the microwave in 5 minutes to cook our meals. We can Google the word or phrase on the Internet to get information within a second. Or we can watch or listen to the televangelists to receive God’s Words in our living rooms without opening our own Bible.

About 80 percent of Americans call themselves Christians. If you are in a Roman Catholic Church, Mormon Church, or Methodist, you are Christian automatically. Being an active member of the church doesn’t guarantee that we are children of God. These three churches, I mentioned, may not carry the true Words of God or representation. If you would do the research on these churches, you would find that there are more than one god they worship, rituals, and rules.

The Bible is not a just historical book, but it is an inspiration of God (II Timothy 3:16) that speaks to us. It is our weapons to protect ourselves from the darkness of sins. Sin can do two or three things since the Garden of Eden. It can separate us our relationship with God. It can bring wages of sin to death eternally (Romans 6:23). Finally, it can bring physical death. Death didn’t start after Adam and Eve disobeyed God’s command. Many people think that Adam and Eve ate the curse apple, which it comes from Walt Disney’s Snow White and Seven Dwarfs. We do not know what fruit Adam and Eve ate because the Bible didn’t clarify on this.

Paul said that the word of God is “the sword of the Spirit (Ephesians 6: 17).” We cannot just read the Bible as the book. We need to meditate on God’s words and apply to our daily lives. It is that there are at least 100 different versions of the Bible in America alone. Why we need to water down to make God’s words comfortable to our lives? We have NKJV, NIV, NCV, TLB, and more to make sin comfortable and enjoyable. Most today’s preachers may able to make their own versions of the Bible for their congregations. It is dangerous thing to do. Revelation 22:19 says, “And if any man shall take away from the words of the book of this prophecy, God shall take away his part out of the book of life, and out of the holy city, and from the things which are written in this book.” For those who made modern versions of the Bible may accountable their actions. We need to be doers of the Holy Bible. We are God’s representatives to show His love and messages to the world.

Living a Healthy Godly Life
Topic: Health

Finally, brethren, whatsoever things are true, whatsoever things are honest, whatsoever things are just, whatsoever things are pure, whatsoever things are lovely, whatsoever things are of good report; if there be any virtue, and if there be any praise, think on these things. (Philippians 4:8 KJV)

Throughout the Bible, God gave us the best advice or cure for our sickness of our physical and spiritual bodies. Even though there are many medicines in the world, there is only one person who can bring healing in our bodies. That is Jesus Christ.

Most of our sicknesses come from our self-focus and nothing to do with our relationship with God and people. We don’t see many healing in the church today because it’s all about me, myself and I. It’s just about how we can get blessing from God than how we can bless God. There are too many preachers today who teach on these things. I read several articles on exposing today’s preachers and found that the most mega church preachers teach on the feel good gospel messages because of money. Their messages are not about how we can have strong relationship with God and people in the community. For example, Joel Osteen always have smile and brings a feel-good message on the telecast. There is nothing wrong with feel-good message, but there is no discernment to protect ourselves from sinning against God. Paul said in II Timothy 4:-3-4, “For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.” We need to protect ourselves from our own lust. If not, our relationship with God would be useless.

Romans 8:7 said that “the carnal mind is enmity against God.” While we are living in this world, we are dealing with the things of this world provides us versus things in God’s kingdom. We may have some strongholds that pull ourselves away from God, such as work, family, football game, and etc. Even though these are not making us to sin, we put these items as our priorities than our time with God. For example, some people may stay in home to watch some Sunday football games than to be with God’s family. If watching some sport games are important to you, then how much God would miss you at the church. Going to the church service is not about joining religious service as tradition Baptist worship service. But it’s about spending our times with God and our brothers and sisters in the body of Christ. Apostle Paul said that we “are the body of Christ, and members in particular (I Corinthians 12:27).”

Paul said in I Timothy 4:8, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” We are being in good physical shape helps little bit. If we want to be 100 percent healthy, we need more than just eating, exercising, and being active. We also need to feed our spiritual bodies by spending the time with God through reading His Words, praying, worshipping, and praising. The word “worship” is just not about raising hands during the praise and worship portion of the service. It is a word that we are honoring God. “In the New Testament the Greek verb proskuneoµ means to kneel or prostrate oneself in honor or supplication of a human being, or to do this in worship of God (King James Bible Word Book).” Anybody can’t receive this kind of honor, except God. But God blesses us when we do our parts.

I don’t recommend Eastern Mysticism type of exercise, such as Yoga. Even though it is a good way to relax our bodies, we would bring other spirits into our systems that pull us away from God. It is an ancient Hindu practice. Although the most today’s teachers may say that it’s modernized that would not effect Hindu practice, it’s still teaching us how to improve our self-images than relying God.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. Basic Understanding of the Cross
Topic: Gospel

And he said to them all, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross daily, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: but whosoever will lose his life for my sake, the same shall save it. (Luke 9:23-24 KJV)

Almost two thousand years ago, God brought His Son, Jesus, to us to die for our sins on the cross. Between Him, there were two thieves that represented us—rebellion and rejection. Let’s explore what these two thieves have to do with us.

Rebellion: Throughout the Bible, especially in the Old Testament, people were stubborn and not willing to listen to God. In the Book of Exodus, the people of Israel had always complained to Moses to get something, even though God provided them food and shelter while they journeyed to the Promise Land. Even though we did not have forty years on the desert, we still rebel against God. During the last couple decades, we continue see that our nation has turned against God. Since the Oklahoma bombing in mid-90s, we continually see that our school systems are not safe for the students to learn to prepare for their future. Our Christian kids are not safe to express their beliefs publicly; instead, they fight for their rights with the help of ACLJ in the courtroom.

Rejection: Since the Obama and his administration took over White House, we see that our nation has rejected God and made itself as the pagan nation. Even before they took the office, our nation slowly went further away from God. I’m not taking any political side, because either republican, democratic, or independent have not really wake themselves up to repair the damages that this nation made. Why? We are arguing about which the political party is fault rather than showing them some possible solutions. Nowadays, America has turned against the traditional marriage and family; instead, people can have any type of relationship, such as same-sex, with animal, and multi-marriage relationship within the family. We also can’t tell which churches that represent the true Word of God, because some churches have adopted the ungodly laws that the Congress and President have approved them.

If we watch any Christian TV and radio programs, we don’t hear teaching on the cross, salvation, sanctification, hell, heaven, and justification. Instead, their teachings are on Christian living, prosperity, and improving self-esteem. Today’s messages are not like 50 or hundreds years ago. Some of us may have forgotten how to seek God. One of myths that the most people believe is that if the person is American, he or she is considered as Christian. That’s 100% fault. Paul said in Romans 10:9-10, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” We need to have relationship with God through Jesus Christ. You cannot have boy/girlfriend without establishing relationship with someone first. This is same with God. He has feeling for us. He wants to have an intimacy relationship with each of us. But we need to let our idols go and take His cross to follow Him.

This is why His cross is represented as Redemption. Jesus set us free from the darkness of sins. I don’t know what problems you are facing today, but Jesus is willing to take care of your problems if you’d let Him. Jesus said in Matthew 11:28-30, “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and learn of me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls. For my yoke is easy, and my burden is light.” Being a Christian is not about joining a religious group or cult, but having a personal relationship with Jesus Christ. Are you willing to accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior? If you do, I love to hear from you. Thou Shall Not Be Separated
Topic: Church
For ye are yet carnal: for whereas there is among you envying, and strife, and divisions, are ye not carnal, and walk as men? For while one saith, I am of Paul; and another, I am of Apollos; are ye not carnal? Who then is Paul, and who is Apollos, but ministers by whom ye believed, even as the Lord gave to every man? (I Corinthians 3:3-5 KJV)

We might have some kinds of question, such as: Why do Christians have many denominational churches? Is the Church of Jesus Christ (not denominational church) enough to praise, honor, and worship God? First, we must understand that Peter was not proclaimed to be Pope over Christian churches as the Roman Catholicism believes in. There is no scriptural support on this. Jesus said in Matthew 16:18, “And I say also unto thee, That thou art Peter, and upon this rock I will build my church; and the gates of hell shall not prevail against it.” “Although some Church Fathers explain ‘this rock’ to mean Peter or the apostles, many of them interpret the rock to mean Christ Himself or else Peter’s confession about Christ (Test All Things, p. 13, e-book edition).”

Does this mean that we need to be separated from those who are in Roman Catholic Churches? Even though we need to give them respect, we also need to share the gospel truth with them without mistreating them. It is sad that most today’s churches are trying to come together to have church services with other religious groups. This is why we have Mormonism, Catholicism, and Church Latter Day of the Saint as Christian denominational churches. It is a good thing for these churches would able to come together to seek the truth, but it is sad thing for true Christians would try to mingle together as one religion.

Jesus didn’t build the church for the men, but we can come together to give God the glory, praise, and worship.

The word “denomination” is simply means a religious grouping within a faith that has its own system of organization. The Baptist church has its own belief system, for example. Most traditional Baptist church members would not believe in speaking in other tongues or can’t shout of praise during the praise and worship. Or the Church of God would not believe the Holy Spirit as the Third Person of the Trinity. But, nowadays, many churches have created their own interpretation of the Bible.

Jesus decided to build the church for one purpose: people can come together to fellowship with God and believers before they would go out and share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other people. It’s a training camp, but, also, our spiritual family home. Even though God is preparing homes for us in Heaven (see John 14:1-4), we can begin to have spiritual family while we are still living in this world. God didn’t begin to create many denominational churches, we did.

If you are a Catholic, would you like to free from the religious ritual practice? If you are a Baptist, would you like to shout of praising God during the church service? Jesus didn’t come to this world to create another religious system. He came to establish relationship with each of us.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Don’t Neglect Jesus Christ
Topic: Book of Hebrews

Therefore we ought to give the more earnest heed to the things which we have heard, lest at any time we should let them slip. For if the word spoken by angels was stedfast, and every transgression and disobedience received a just recompence of reward; How shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation; which at the first began to be spoken by the Lord, and was confirmed unto us by them that heard him; God also bearing them witness, both with signs and wonders, and with divers miracles, and gifts of the Holy Ghost, according to his own will? (Hebrews 2:1-4 KJV)

The Book of Hebrews contyains five warning passages (2:1–4; 3:7–4:13; 5:11–6:20; 10:19–39; 12:18–29). These passages contain much exhortation but also some explicit warnings—a danger sign. This first passage warns: Do not neglect Christ’s message.

Exodus 20:3-4 says, "Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth..." But what our nation is doing? We have seen the children cannot pray and share the love of Jesus with the other kids in the school, US Supreme Court took the Ten Commandments down, and legalizing all the ungodly laws in our Christian nation. So, how "shall we escape, if we neglect so great salvation (Hebrews 2:3)?"

Since God has no greater messenger than His Son, He has no more important message than the gospel which the Son has given. And if the law given through angels was steadfast, producing sure judgment, how shall we escape, if we ignore the sure message of the Son? This message was proclaimed by Christ to His apostles and then by the apostles to the author of Hebrews (v. 3).

We cannot just read the message of Gospel and misuse it. Paul said in II Corinthians 11:4, "For if he that cometh preacheth another Jesus, whom we have not preached, or if ye receive another spirit, which ye have not received, or another gospel, which ye have not accepted, ye might well bear with him." We have seen that there are several churches that preach on another gospel. Many church leaders may teach more on prosperity and self-image of Christian life. This is why we have NIV, NCV, TLB, and many other Bible versions than the 1611 King James Version. In fact, most modern Bible versions try to put the weight off from sin, hell, God’s wrath, Satan and demons.

It is our, as church of Jesus Christ, responsibilities to fulfill the great commission that Jesus gave to us (Matthew 28:18-20).

Now Playing: There is No Condemnation
Topic: Nation

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4 KJV)

Romans 8:1-4 is explaining that there is no need to worry about how God would judge to those who are His children. I’m not talking about God’s children under the Jewish nation, but in worldwide. The Jewish era didn’t begin until God formed twelve tribes of Israel under Jacob. This also means that our forefather and foremother, Adam and Eve, were not in certain ethical group. If we read the geology of Jesus in Matthew1, we found that some people did not come from the Jewish nation. That’s why Jesus said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

However, if we would able to escape from God’s wrath, we need to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh or the desire of our hearts. Living by our flesh can lead us to destruction of our spirits. First John 2:15-16 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” As we see today, many people have lost to stay in touch with God. Some today’s church leaders have decided to blend with the world to make some mega churches. For example, after the death of Rev. John Osteen of Lakewood Church, we do not hear the solid biblical teaching from his son, Joel Osteen; instead, most of his teaching is basis on feel good messages for our flesh. There are a small percentage of Christian TV and radio programs that teach the solid truth of the Words of God.

I believe God is holding His judgment up against America because some churches may still proclaim the truth and try to walk by the Holy Spirit. I recently read an article on individual singer, who proclaimed to be a born-again Christian, and yet, he likes to play some really hard-rock satanic music. He thinks that being in America is becoming a Christian automatically. Unfortunately, he has wrong mindset. Either doing a good deed or being an American doesn’t guarantee us to be with Jesus Christ eternally. We have to establish our relationship with Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit leads us to live in this world.

The Prophets
Topic: Book of Hebrews
God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds; Who being the brightness of his glory, and the express image of his person, and upholding all things by the word of his power, when he had by himself purged our sins, sat down on the right hand of the Majesty on high; Being made so much better than the angels, as he hath by inheritance obtained a more excellent name than they. (Hebrews 1:1-4 KJV)

Throughout the Old Testament, God used prophets to send His messages to His people. But, in the last day, God used His Son, Jesus Christ, to bring His people back from the darkness of their sins.

Why: Throughout the Old Testament, we see that His people turned back from God and decided to follow the ways of the pagan world. We currently see that our nation has decided to turn back against God. Currently, we continually see that our government keeps legalize homosexual agenda, abortion, marijuana, and many other ungodly activities.

In the early days, God used Jesus Christ to show people the way to God. But, now, it is our responsibilities to send the gospel to the loss before Jesus would come back to judge the world. Verse 4 indicates that Jesus is the greater than angels.

What is Being a Christian?
Topic: Gospel

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. Ye are my friends, if ye do whatsoever I command you. Henceforth I call you not servants; for the servant knoweth not what his lord doeth: but I have called you friends; for all things that I have heard of my Father I have made known unto you. (John 15:13-15 KJV)

What is your definition of being a Christian or follower of Jesus Christ? The secular definition of Christian means that if you live a good life and helping other people, you are a follower of Jesus Christ. Really? This would mean that all Catholics are going to Heaven automatically. Unfortunately, this is not truly meaning of being a Christian. Anybody can be a good Samaritan. Even if you are a Roman Catholicism, Mormonism, or Jehovah Witness, you can do good works for the people in the community.

Unfortunately, there is one element that separates Christianity from Catholicism, Mormonism, Jehovah Witness, and other religions. That is the death and resurrection of Jesus Christ. Apostle Paul said in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” There is no other gods who died for their love ones than Jesus Christ. On the third day, He resurrected and ascent to Heaven after fifty days (Pentecost).

Jesus has called us friends, because He wants relationship with us. Throughout the Bible, God showed His love and mercy toward His people. Even though He disciplined His people, He showed them His love and care for them.

Shall the America Live for God Again?
Topic: Nation

The hand of the LORD was upon me, and carried me out in the spirit of the LORD, and set me down in the midst of the valley which was full of bones, And caused me to pass by them round about: and, behold, there were very many in the open valley; and, lo, they were very dry. And he said unto me, Son of man, can these bones live? And I answered, O Lord GOD, thou knowest. Again he said unto me, Prophesy upon these bones, and say unto them, O ye dry bones, hear the word of the LORD. Thus saith the Lord GOD unto these bones; Behold, I will cause breath to enter into you, and ye shall live… (Ezekiel 37:1-5 KJV)

Ezekiel 37 is about the rebirth of Israel as a nation from the captivity, which it happened in 1948. Throughout the latter part of the Old Testament to the middle part of the 20th century, Israel was rebellion against God and received their consequences by taken by the other nations. It was God’s way to try to bring His people back to Himself. We see how the people of Israel walked away from God throughout the Old Testament.

Israel became a dry bone that didn’t have any hope to escape from the Babylonian captivity. Shall this nation live again? Let’s reflect Ezekiel 37 to our nation.

I do believe that our nation has been blessed by God for many years. Before I came to this country in 1990, I heard some people said that America was like the heaven. Before the 21st century, I believed that the most Christian radio and television stations were the biblical sound programs. Yet, we continue to see that America started to become a dry bone where there are no hope and future for us to be with God. Even though there are many churches throughout the America, only few of them would escape from God’s judgment.

Remember what Apostle Peter said: “For the time is come that judgment must begin at the house of God…” (I Peter 4:17a.) It is our responsibilities to maintain God’s house and to do His given mission. The church, I’m talking here, is the body of church, which they are you and me. We are the temple of the Holy Ghost (1 Corinthians 6:19). We bought with a price that we cannot be paid, which it is the blood of Jesus Christ. So, how is the temple in you? Did you trash all your junk and make more room for your Savior? Did your spiritual bone wake from the grave? I’m only talking to you personally. We cannot wake our nation up until we do our parts.

Our nation has become so religious that we have lost to stay in contact with God, family, friends, and our neighbors. We do not need the wooden image of gods to become religious. Our idol of worship can be anything that disturbs our relationships with God—such as the love of money, sports, family, or anything that bring our attentions above God.

Our nation needs spiritual rain again. We cannot wake the dry bones up until we start to cry out to God.

Facing the Giant
Topic: Living Life

Finally, my brethren, be strong in the Lord, and in the power of his might. (Ephesians 6:10 KJV)

How many of us have giants in our lives? Giants can be anything that would try to block us to reaching the goals. We all have problems in our lives. There is no one who doesn’t have some kinds of life issues. Our life problems can be either big or small. Even Jesus faced the giant while He was living in this earth. Yet, He was able to conquer the problems in His life.

I understand that some people may think living a life is the ticket to the Heaven. Even though there is a truth to this; yet, it’s still further away from the truth. There is no guarantee that just living a life will have the ticket to Heaven. Just committed to the religious ritual and tradition don’t make us to have the key to Heaven. We need to establish our personal relationship with Jesus Christ, while we are living in this world, and to do His will. It’s very sad some people think that if they’d do many good deeds would make them to enter the kingdom of God.

I love what Jeremiah 1:5 says, “Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.” This verse is talking about God’s relationship with us. Before we were born, God wanted us to be somebody that would represent Him. We all have called by God to be His representatives. I don’t care if you were born from the disability or not. Yet, we have choice who we want to serve—Satan or God. There is no third choice. If you’d think that Virgin Mother Mary can help you, think again. Even she received a favor from God, it didn’t mean that she became a mother of God eternally.

We can conquer our problems with the help from God. He is your and my shepherd (Psalms 23:1) who supplies all our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). We can count on Him if we’d do our parts.

Nothing Separate Us from the Love of God
Topic: Word of God

For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, Nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord. (Romans 8:38-39 KJV)

How many of you have experienced bad relationship? Most people have relationship with their families, girl/boyfriends, co-workers, and business associations. Unfortunately, these kinds of relations may fail sometimes in their lifetimes. As we see on the media, many people are hurting because of their bad relationships, including children. As the people of Israel, we have walked away from God and believed that He doesn’t exist in our land anymore. We can see that other religions began to open the door to represent this nation while Christians are going back to the closet. Then, if our nation would attack by the radical religious group, we would be coming out from the closet and begin to call upon God to save us

God is not like a genie from the magic lamp. It’s sad situation when the America started to seek His hands of blessing than His face. He is more than our Heavenly Father and Friend. He is the King of kings and Lord of lords (Revelation 19:16). When we go and ask for help, He already knows what our needs are and ready to meet our needs. Unfortunately, we have misused Matthew 7:7-8 so must that we have forgotten the second step, which Paul said in Philippians 4:19, “But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus.”

There is nothing separate us from the love God, but we must do our parts. We need to work our relationships with Him through every day of our daily living activities. You cannot make someone to love you without your actions. Most people think that God ran away from us; instead, we ran away from Him. We read throughout the Old Testament about how the people of Israel ran away from God and made their own government. Does this sound similar to our national situation? We see on the news that may people were killed by gun violence, many unborn children were killed by their parents through abortion procedure, some teenagers are taking their parents to the court for the college tuition, legalizing homosexual marriage, child abuse, and more. We turned our nation to the pagan nation.

Does God still love us? Yes, but we need to change our living for God. We need to call upon God and repent our sins to reunite with Him. There’s no gap that would block us to be with God. We cannot blame God for our mistakes. Currently, we have President, who has nothing to do with Christians, our relationship with Israel, and our national original laws. Every ungodly law come to his office, he’d sign it. If the godly law comes to his office, he’d veto it. We put him there. How do I know this? It’s on our daily news media. There is no secret that our politicians can hide his/her actions. Yet, some of us are spiritually blinded that we only can see what we see and hear on the secular media.

There need to be balanced for us to obey our government and God. But when our government would decide to legalizing more ungodly laws to entire nation, we’d need to stand and fight against it. We should not be silenced. I do not believe that we should be belonged to certain political party, except God’s. Our government should represent for God. Instead, our government decided to turn their back away from Him. As we continue to pray and fast for this nation return to God, we need to

·       Continue to share the gospel with other people around us

·       Continue to have quality time with God and family

·       Continue to seek for guidance from God and other believers to go through your day

Remember: God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. Light of the Word
Topic: Word of God

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalms 119:105 KJV)

We have a book that leads us to God, which it is called the Bible. The Bible is not a religious book that contains the old English words. It is a book that teaches us to build our relationship with God. Even there are many versions of the Bible, we need to communicate with God every moment of our lives.

Psalms 119 is all about God’s Words. His words bring life to this world. In Genesis 1, we see how God created this world with His spoken words. We even can’t grasp the power of His words to His creation of the world. Yet, He tries to speak to our life everyday to guide us through difficulties.

Living a life for God is a challenging. Yet, we have a God, who cares us and wants to go through the obstacles with us. Apostle Peter said in I Peter 5:6, “Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you.” Satan and his demonic angels can’t help us with our life problems. Yet, we see every day that some people worship Satan through secular music that contains unhealthy words for our spiritual beings and souls. It is sad that some people don’t know what they are listening and feeding themselves into their spiritual bodies.

Do you want to live in a healthy life for the kingdom of God? It is not too late to accept Jesus Christ as your Lord and Savior. Weapon of the Word
Topic: Word of God

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4 KJV)

Using a word can be powerful that it can bring somebody to life or destruction. As we read in Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus used the Scriptures every time Satan tempted Him. Jesus said we should not live by food alone, but with the Word of God. This is why the Bible is important to us. Not only it gives us the hope and faith in God, it also helps us to guard ourselves from the scheme of the devils. If you do not believe the existence of Satan and demons, you would be spiritually blinded or become spiritually disability.

This is why Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Even though God’s Words can help us to build our personal with Jesus Christ, they can separate us from the darkness or secular world. Do you have your personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If not, I would like to encourage you to know Jesus Christ today.

Do you know why our nation so mess right now? We closed the Words of God in our lives. As I said in the previous message, many of us like to watch some preachers on the television as the fast food restaurants. We have become lazy to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other people around us. If we’d want to lose some spiritual fatness, we need to put God’s Words in our spiritual diet. Paul said in I Timothy 4:8, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” We cannot go to the war and fight for our nation until we would go through some training.

The Word: In the Beginning…
Topic: Word of God
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3 KJV)

When you think about certain words come to your mind, what are you thinking? The words have the power to give us life or death. In this message series, we will first look up Genesis 1 and answer how God created the earth within seven days.

As we read John 1:1-3, the Word was existed since the beginning of the time. We don’t know how the Word was created as how God was existed. We can’t answer the existence of God. Even though some scientists may believe in Big Bang Theory, we have the Word of God that said the earth was created by God’s Spoken Words. As we read in Genesis 1, all God’s creation was created by His spoken words. We don’t need make this more complication. We don’t need evolution theory to approve that the human came from the ape, because there is no approve to it.

John 1:1-3 also tells us that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, was in the part of the creation. Apostle Paul said in Colossians 1:15-17, “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Who is He? Jesus Christ! He was with God and the Holy Spirit in Genesis 1. Even though His name didn’t appear in the Old Testament, it doesn’t mean that the Bible has two gods. Don’t be confused to that.

God’s words are powerful. They give us life rather than death. They give us eternal security that Christ can come to live in each of us if we’d let Him. The Bible is not a religious book that fills with rules and regulations. It contains God’s breathing spoken words that give us life, love, and encourage to go through another day. It is a Basic Information Before Leaving the Earth.

Do you know why some of us tired to read the Bible? We are too busy with the world that we don’t have anytime with God. It is ashamed for us to put our agendas as priority before God. No wonder some of us suck into watching some preachers on TBN, CBN, DAYSTAR as fast spiritual food restaurants.

Do you like to change your lifestyle and live with eternal purpose? You don’t need to do petty party anymore, because God knows your needs and He wants to give it to you if you’d let Him.

The Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Covet…
Topic: Laws of God

Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. (Exodus 20:17 KJV)

Even though Paul said we can covet earnestly the best gifts (I Corinthians 12:31), we should not desire anything that is not belong to us. It is sad that we see the people rushed into stores to get gifts for their children before anybody grabbed the toys during the Black Friday. It is good enough to buy gifts for my family after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday would end and before the week of rushed holiday shopping week.

The word “covet” has both positive and negative effects. First meaning of its word is “to desire earnestly or pursue.” Remember when God asked Solomon what he’d like to have in his life. Solomon could ask God for anything like genie of the lamp. But he didn’t. Instead, he asked God for wisdom, so he can rule the kingdom right way, not for himself, but for God. God established the land of Israel, starting with Abraham. Even today, the land is belonging to God. He started plowing His seeds in that land. Nobody, even President Obama, can give the land of Israel to Palestine or ungodly nation. Genesis 12:3 said, “And I [God] will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”

Second part of its definition is “to be heated or to boil with envy, hatred, anger.” This has to go with Exodus 20:17. Some people would get jealous easy when the other person would have better things. Especially, children can’t get control him/herself when he/she would see better toys with other students. We need to control ourselves when we’d see better things. It is not good for us to do childish thing.

We need to covet things earnestly—not only for ourselves, but for God’s kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Are you coveting things earnestly? Lear from what King Solomon did before he went down to the drain.

The Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness
Topic: Laws of God

Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16 KJV)

As we are getting ready to close this series on the Ten Commandment, the last two are focused on our relationship with neighbors or someone close to us that is outside our families. Our focus today is on the ninth commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.

For me, I don’t like to watch court TV programs. The reason: There are too many disagreements between the two oppositions and the judge. They are not telling the truth. Instead, they tell some fables to the judge and the judge would decide who’s telling the truth.

We can see this act from anywhere, even in the church. Let’s read what Paul said to Timothy (I Timothy 4:1-3), “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” We see that some preachers teach the gospel that is out of context in the Holy Bible. For example, Peter Popoff is selling the holy water or holy prayer cloth for certain amount. If the water is holy, where did he get it from and why he is selling to us? This and more pastors don’t teach the truth; instead, they are seeking for money.

We are supposed to be witnesses to draw people into God and not for our needs. The goal of this ministry is this: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations… (Matthew 24:14). I don’t need your money to share the truth of God. It is ashamed for ministers to use the merchandise and fable methods to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”

Is your light on for you to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people, who haven’t heard the gospel? Are you a true witness for Jesus Christ or just pretending for you could have some money? Choice is yours.

How to Become Family of God?
Topic: Gospel

Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 KJV)

I’d like to discuss with you on becoming family of God. I believe that the churches have lost the basic teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead, many preachers may teach more on how to become a wealthy Christian or how to get stuffs from God. That is what we called robber or thief. Malachi 3:8-9 says, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.”

I know that the Roman Catholic Church has some religious rituals or several steps to become a member of the church. Some of you may know that I use Romans 10:9-10 as invitation to join the family of God. It says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” You don’t need to go through priest to confess your sin to God or pray to the Virgin Mother Mary. These are useless. I Timothy 2:5-6 says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Jesus did not come to the earth and just die for our sins, but to establish His relationship with each of us. There is different to join the church and to join the family of God. To join the church means that you stay for the service to receive for the week. But to join the family of God means that you are establishing relationship with other believers in the church and outside the church throughout the week.

We have created so many denominational churches that bring divisions within the house of God. Paul said in I Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Some of you may disagree with me and that’s okay, but you may need to double check with the Scriptures. God’s words cannot be voided or changeable.

Some of you may against me, because you may don’t hear this kind of message in today’s churches. America churches have changed so much that we don’t know who’s telling the truth of God. After the death of John Osteen at Lakewood Church, I stopped watching his son’s program, because of smooth or itchy words that the most people would like to hear rather than the truth of God. Even though we’d need inspiration words like Joel Osteen, we also need the message on conviction of sins like Rev. John Osteen, so we may not be sinned against God.

Our nation needs repentance from the sins against God before it would become too late to enter the kingdom of God. We are the church of God and each of us is accountable of what we have done on Earth with the free gift of salvation. I don’t care if you have disability or not, young or old, but what are you doing with the gift of salvation? You could waste your gift or spread around to the people and community.

If you are not sure about becoming family of God, I’d like you to evaluate yourself about the good things you have done and what God could do for you? Hebrews 11:40 says, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”

Tears of Rain for America
Topic: New Year

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (James 5:16-18 KJV)

What is your expectation for 2014? As we’d look forward to the New Year, I’d like to share some insights about why this nation needs tears of rain for 2014. Even though there are many preachers may preach on the end time prophecy, we’d need to understand fundamentally about why God judges His people first. It is sad to see that we do not hear on the message of gospel any more. Instead, most sermons that we from the pulpit hear is all about us.

No wonder why our nation is going deep into the Day of Sodom and Gomorrah. We hardly to find churches that teach from the King James Version of the Bible anymore. Nowadays, most churches use the modern day of the Bible versions, such as NKJV, NIV, MSG, NCV, NLT, and many other versions. These Bible versions may not come from the original Hebrew and Greek manuscript and may contain errors; mostly they don’t put emphasis heavily on sin, hell, Satan, and judgment of God. Yes, God is a loving and caring Father, but He is an ultimate Judge and He doesn’t tolerate our sinful acts go unpunished.

We cannot lead the nation without the right teaching of God. We are called to be priests. I’m not just talking about we need to take church leadership positions, but as representatives of God, we have responsible to share the love and messages of Jesus Christ to other people. Apostle Peter said in I Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…”

Our nation needs spiritual rain and we cannot have the rain until we’d reunite with Him. We don’t know where God would take us in 2014, but that doesn’t mean we can relax and do nothing. We have work to do that God assigned to us (see Matthew 28:18-20). We can share the love and messages of God while we are in home, work, and other places we go.

As we walk into 2014, let’s pray and fasting for this nation would reunite with God. Even though our political leaders may not know what they are doing for America, we are responsible to lead them into the right direction. We need to be like weeping prophets as Jeremiah. We need to cry out for God’s direction, not ours.

Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Steal
Topic: Laws of God

Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15 KJV)

Even though this week is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, I’d like to do differently. Most of us may hear the sermon of the first Christmas during this time of the year, even though we can’t approve that there was ones during the early church era. But this is a time for us to share the love and message of God to others. Jesus didn’t just come to the earth to die for our sins, but to establish His relationship with each of us. He is the Emmanuel (Matthew 1:23)—God with us. “…his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).” Even though the world is going to the wrong direction, God is waiting for us to show the right way to live life. We can count on God to show us the path of life.

We mostly listen to the news that man steals some stuff that is not his. I don’t care who does this evil act, it is an act of sin against his people and God. John 10:10 declares, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” We see this in American churches today—small or large churches. Most televangelists are advertising their products for 5-10 minutes to seek for money. This is no good. The ten percent of your money should go to your local church and if you’d like to donate your money to the charity, go ahead, but your money don’t need to go to the TV/radio ministries.

Most today’s preachers twisted the truth of tithing. They may tell us that if we’d give $1,000 to their ministries, God will give us double of that amount. This is the lie that comes from the hell. Even though God can bless us with money, He can bless us more than money according to His will—not ours. We can’t take anything on Earth when we’d go to Heaven, because God will provide us everything we lost on the earth. Our homes are not in this earth, because we are just passing by until Jesus Christ would return and take us home.

We don’t need to steal anything from our people, because God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If we’d need to get well from cold, we don’t need to go to doctors and get medicines. Instead, we’d need to ask God to heal our sickness. Use our doctors as the last resort, not primary.

What do you need from God? God just can’t give it to you. You’d need to establish relationship with Him. I’m not talking about joining religion, but establishing relationship with the Heavenly Father. You could do the Rosary Prayer to the Virgin Mother Mary, but she was just a person who received God’s favor and did not receive the divine power as the mother of God. You could pray to Allah, but he can’t hear you because the word “Allah” is a Hebrew word for curse. But Jesus can answer all of your needs, because He proved Himself that His relationship with us has no match with any of these gods and demonic power.
