Freedom vs. Slavery
Topic: Deception

Tell me, ye that desire to be under the law, do ye not hear the law? For it is written, that Abraham had two sons, the one by a bondmaid, the other by a freewoman. But he who was of the bondwoman was born after the flesh; but he of the freewoman was by promise. (Galatians 4:21-23 KJV)

Remember the story of the later life of Abraham. Even though God promised him to give him descendants, he and his wife decided to help God to make their wishes become true. Sarah told Abraham to hook up with her servant woman, Hagar, to come up with child. God doesn't need our help to make His promise into reality faster. Hagar came from Egypt while Abraham and Sarah were there. I believe that Sarah needed some assistances and Hagar was available. When it was a time for them to leave Egypt, Hagar decided to follow them.

In Galatians 4:21-27, Hagar represents as a bondwoman and Sarah is a freewoman. The Greek word for bondwoman or a young female slave is paidiske. Also, Hagar represents as a slave to the world system. While she lived under the Egyptian authority, she had no choice but to follow the way of government. I don't know about you, but I'd be tired to be in bondage under the governmental authority, which we know today as communism, liberalism or socialism.

Even though we need to respect and obey our governmental authority, their orders must come from God (Romans 13:1), not from their own ideas. When our leaders decided shutdown businesses and services due to global pandemic, it was unnecessary for them to do so, especially churches. Not only people lost their income, they also lost their joy to go out to interact with other people on a daily basis. But when the government decided to shutdown churches, they overreached their limits. Churches are governed by God, not our government. Churches are essential for people to search for hope when they are in crises. I know that many churches decided to fight against the governmental authority in 2020. Nowadays, we see that many parents are fighting for unmasking their children in schools. Even though the government seems to be concerned for children during the global crises, children need to have proper air. If they mask their mouths and noses on for seven to eight hours a day for five days a week, they would be sick or die because they don't get air properly during school hours. But the government and news medias are kept pushing for mask mandate. Why?

America lost God. Since one person said against to have prayer in schools, God walked away from the education system and let Satan took over. Once we pushed God away, then other gods come to us, which is Satan. We cannot live without somebody in us. Atheist doesn't believe the existence of God or gods, but who they listen to? Satan. John 8:44 says, "Ye are of your father the devil, and the lusts of your father ye will do. He was a murderer from the beginning, and abode not in the truth, because there is no truth in him. When he speaketh a lie, he speaketh of his own: for he is a liar, and the father of it." When God gave Satan a permission to take over the world, he had a very limit to do with his power. One thing that he cannot do, which is controlling us. Instead, God gave us the freewill to follow Him or Satan. As we see in our nation today, we don't have freedom that we usually to have. We cannot go to work unless vaccinate it. We cannot travel until we'd show the vaccinated ID passport. Some people may think it's good idea and some do not.

So, where is God from all of these? We really need to wake up and look what's really happening. We can follow the way of world or God. God allows a strong delusion for us to believe a lie that comes from the pit of hell (2 Thessalonians 2:11-12). Sadly, there are some churches to follow the guideline of the governor's executive order in order to have services physically, which it is sad. Even though we all need to be cautious due to global pandemic, we really need to listen to God rather than men. He is the answer we need at this moment of the history.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access and have personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God. If you’d need further assistance, you can email me at mgjcinfo@mgjcweb.org or visit my ministries website at www.mgjcweb.org for further resources.

Turn Away from the Truth
Topic: Deception

For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables. (II Timothy 4:3-4 KJV)

For more than ever, we need to know what's going on with today's world. Not just in the United States, but everywhere, especially in Middle East. I understand that our nation seems to be chaotic situation right now. Since the most leadership is governed by the one political system, everything is not going right for America. Even our schoolchildren are challenged by the radical educational theory on their identities, political correction, and the history of the United States, we have seen that they are confused and hurting; and their parents are fighting for them. I asked myself: Why our nation is so corrupted since the Coronavirus started throughout the world? For years, our nation had been blessed by the Almighty God. We stood up with the people of Israel when they are in crisis. Our nation was founded by the biblical principal. But now, our nation is so corrupted with all selfishness. We have been gained ourselves that we can do everything ourselves without God. We let one person stood up to pull the prayer out of schools; let the government provides funding to Planned Parenthood, so they can provide for women to kill their unwanted babies; and we let the government to direct teachers to teach children to learn about sex, gender exchange, and radical historical theory.

It is the time for us to wake up and stand for the justice, liberty, and pursuit of happiness. It is the time for us to turn our nation back to God. When we turn on our TV, we have hardly find entertainment for entire family to watch together, such as The Walton, Touch by an Angel, and Family Ties. Instead, we often find TV shows that are fulfilled with violence, crime, and sex; and some children shows are beginning to turn as today's prime programs, too. We cannot get family together in our dinner table because we like to do our own things, which it is called individualism. This is why the crime is so high throughout the nation. Some of them like to spend outside of their homes and follow the crowd of people. Most of parents work and come home late. We need to reconstruct our family time, so we can have no crime activities, no jail time, and be safe in our communities. Right now, our communities are war zones. Every night, ambulances, fire trucks, and police cars across our streets.

There are a lot of misunderstanding of what we are facing right now. Some of us might like to follow what the government, news media, and high tech said; or some try to listen to what God said and do more digging to find the truth. Right now, we cannot let the kids go to schools unless they'd vaccinate and put on their masks; and same things for adults, they cannot go to work unless they'd vaccinate or quit the jobs. It's sad that we come to this, when our politicians gave us demands due to the safety from Covid; and many businesses follow their rules and regulations without knowing what some of the risks are. For example, we are risking our kids' air when they go to schools with putting masks on for eight hours a day and five days a week. They need proper air breathing rather than following our governments' massive mask mandate. I can guarantee that there would be more hospitalizations and deaths outbreak across the countries.

It is very critical now to decide which we need to live. We can live by our governmental rules, but they are pushing their political agendas much further; or we can live by putting our trust in God, so that He can direct us to the path of life. It is up to us. Even though the vaccine is not the actual Mark of Beast, it could be a vehicle to that event. We don't know how long this global pandemic outbreak stay, but we can be conquerors and walk through pandemic by putting trust in God. David said in Psalms 139: 23-24, "Search me, O God, and know my heart: try me, and know my thoughts: And see if there be any wicked way in me, and lead me in the way everlasting."

Do you have a relationship with the Creator of the universe? If not, do you like to know Him? Jesus did not just come to the earth and die for our sins, He came to have relationship with each of us. Paul said in Romans 5:8 "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." God knows we are not perfect and sinless in His eyes. But He doesn't want to give up on us and let us fall into the pit of Hell. God listens to our prayers. When God was about to kill His people, because they turned against Him, Moses begged Him to spare His people. Even He is the justice God, He listens to people and give them chance to turn their lives around.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Two Ways of Street
Topic: Living Life

Enter ye in at the strait gate: for wide is the gate, and broad is the way, that leadeth to destruction, and many there be which go in thereat: Because strait is the gate, and narrow is the way, which leadeth unto life, and few there be that find it. (Matthew 7:13-14 KJV)

Even though this passage of Scripture is related to Heaven and Hell, I want to talk about there are only two ways to live a life before entering to eternality. One way leads to God and another way leads to the lake of fire. Former President Barak Obama, Oprah Winfrey, and Joel Osteen believe that there are many ways to Heaven. However, according to the Bible, there is only one way to Heaven. Jesus said in John 14:6, "I am the way, the truth, and the life: no man cometh unto the Father, but by me." Hebrews 1:1-2, "God, who at sundry times and in divers manners spake in time past unto the fathers by the prophets, Hath in these last days spoken unto us by his Son, whom he hath appointed heir of all things, by whom also he made the worlds…"

Why does the road to Heaven is so narrow? Does God want everybody to go to His place? Even though God wants everybody enter to His place, He wants us to make decision which way we should live for. Broad way, there are lots of way to live for. But sometimes, it's confusing, because there is no focal point. God wants us to have freedom to live in this planet Earth, but He wants us to focus on our destination.

Psalms 1 addresses that there are only two ways to live in this Earth. Even the world have many religions, there are only two ways for us to live a life. We can live godly or ungodly way and there is no third choice. In the beginning, there was not any type of religion until Satan entered into Garden of Eden to trick the first woman of all creatures, which God had ever made (Genesis 3). Throughout the generations, we see that God's people worshipped pagan gods. Even today, we have many world religions as well as Christian denominations. It is sad that our Christian root has divided into many belief systems. This is why we have many Bible versions. We cannot agree to each other on what God's words said in the Holy Bible. We let Catholic pope dominated the belief system with the Words of God. As a result, some beliefs contains with mixture of paganism in Christian churches, such as Christian holidays (Easter, Halloween, and Christmas). If you'd like to find more information on holidays, you can go to MGJC Web Ministry (www.mgjcweb.org) for more details.

So why does lovely God want us to walk through narrow road to reach the prize?

  • We can focus only one goal at a time. If we'd do too much, we'd be miserable because the lack of organization .
  • Broad road leads to confusion and dissatisfaction of our lives.
  • God wants us to focus in Him, so He can walk with us through difficulties.

Many of you have faced difficulties since the pandemic hits throughout the world. Many of you are stuck in home because of Covid. I know you are tired of  being stuck in home, got lay-off from your job, or working your job at home. I know I am. But we must not give our hope down and let the devil beats us up. Instead, it is the time for us to turn our focal point to Jesus.

Press Toward to the Year 2021
Topic: New Year

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 KJV)

2020 has been challenged for all of us throughout the world. We would not guarantee what the year 2021 would bring, but we know who controls our future. Currently, it seems that the world is in choatic situation. We see that our government is fighting each other's throats. The media outlets don't tell the whole truth of current situations. Many riot groups are raging against the governments and trying to make change from original historical facts. And so on.

Even though we are in difficult situation, we must not give our faiths up. I understand that our state governors are doing no good by shutting businesses and services down due to Covid-19 (government made virus), but we must not give hope up. We know who hold our future. We know who will expose these global activities to the rest of world. We know that Satan has very limited time to make this world mess before Jesus will return to settle His government with us.

But in the meantime, we must stand and fight for the freedom that God gave all of us. Paul said in II Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." The question is: Are we going to fight continuously for our freedom or just let the government take over us?

I don't about you. I'm tired to stay at home for the most of time due to Covid. But I'm a fighter for the truth. Satan cannot let me down through news media outlets or lock me down into apartment. Most today's news reports are negative and basis on liberal-socialism agendas. We must heed what God says to us. We must act rather than just being stuck in your safe environment. We must read God's report rather than reading our newspaper. 2021 would be hard year, but the question is: Are you going to give up?

Current Law & Order Conflict
Topic: Nation

And the LORD said unto Moses, Come up to me into the mount, and be there: and I will give thee tables of stone, and a law, and commandments which I have written; that thou mayest teach them. (Exodus 24:12 KJV)

During the forty days of fasting, Moses spent his time with God to learn the ways of God for His people. Of course, God gave him the Ten Commandments that address two types of relationship. The first four commandments address our relationship with God (Exodus 20:2-11). It is important for us to have relationship with God, because He created the universe and us. God wants to have personal relationship with each of us. He created the world for us to enjoy the life that He gave us.

Last six commandments are related to our relationships with each others. Remember when God created Adam and gave him all the responsibilities to take care His creation, God felt sorry for the man to be lonely. Genesis 2:18 said, "It is not good that the man should be alone…" Why? It is easily for us to be in depression stage when there would be no one else to talk with or work with. As we see in this verse, God gave Adam a woman, from his rib, to assist him to take care His creation. Before the fall of man in Genesis 3, their jobs were lighted and enjoyed doing jobs. There is so much to say about the first couple chapters in the Book of Genesis, but let's return to the last six of the Ten Commandments, which is concerned with the relationship with one another.

Before the fall of man, God intended for us to have eternal human life. However, the sins entered to the world, God shrunk the human lifespan down into 120 years (Genesis 6:3). For us to have a long life, we have to honor our parents; shall not commit murder, steal, commit adultery, steal, bear false witness, and covet another people's property. Even though God knows that we may not be kept the first ten laws perfectly, He gave us the two laws that summarized all the laws in the Bible--love God and love our people. Love is the powerful for us to have. God knows that we would have difficulty to follow the Ten Comments on a daily basis because the sins issue. Paul said in Romans 3:10-11, "There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." If you'd say that you obey God 100%, you'd become a liar and God is not with you. There is only one Person, who has kept God's laws perfectly, which is Jesus Christ. That is why Paul said in Philippians 2:5-11, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross. Wherefore God also hath highly exalted him, and given him a name which is above every name: That at the name of Jesus every knee should bow, of things in heaven, and things in earth, and things under the earth; And that every tongue should confess that Jesus Christ is Lord, to the glory of God the Father."

Let's forward to what's going on the world today, especially United States of America. I believe the way that U.S. moves would effect the rest of the world. Most of countries are looking to us as role model. We have relationship with Israel to be blessed by God as we continually stay as strong and wealthy nation of the world. Our nation has made much progress to establish relationship with other countries to share common ideas to make better places for people in the world.

Unfortunately, we still struggle with dealing certain issues in our lives. I want to tell you that our country has so many groups that segregates from with the rest of world. That's good! But, on the other hand, it's bad. Even though our country has many diversities of groups, we also try to make competition from others. Right now, many people are pointing their fingers to President Trump for our national issues rather than finding out the real problems and solve them. Since the coronavirus pandemic started throughout the world in this springtime, everybody has been depending on their political leaders to fix the problem. As we see, this global pandemic has not left yet. Over millions people have effected and/or died due to this global pandemic, which it was created by secret governmental scientists. Rather than solving this quickly, political leaders got involved and trying to resolve this by stages slowly. Right now, in our national Capitol, there is civil war going on between two political parties since Donald Trump won the presidential election in November 2016. Why? Sin issues. Many Americans don't want to change from the laws that former President Obama signed to make the law of the land, which it constricts against God's Words and the original U.S. Constitution. Many children have confused their gender identities because of LGBTQ rights and movements. There have been more unborn babies have not chanced to see the world because of the abortion right.

Last three to four weeks have been wild throughout US and rest of world due to racism and security issues. It is not just "Black Lives Matter" problem, because racism is not going away. We can keep protest against the government, but the law will not solve all the problems. This is "Every Lives Matter" problem. The more laws we want to have, the more problems that exist today. Yes, the laws may help us to keep safe, but some people may have another idea to overcome the laws. It's sad that many people spent several days to protest on the death of one man or certain kind of people by police officers and effect throughout the world. Yet, we spend one day of the year to protest against abortion at Washington, DC, even though abortion has been existed since the Old Testament era.

To solve our national and global crises, we need let go our problems to God. We need to surrender our sinful selves to Him and ask forgiveness for our sins. That's the only way to bring the nation and others into peace. Some of us may understand that bringing global crisis is the part of end-time event. God cannot restore the earth back into original without dealing with Satan and his armies. We are the last generation before God would bring final judgement on Earth. He will separate each of us between His people and Satan's--sheep and goat. Are you one of God's people? We just cannot follow riots and fight for our rights. God knows who we are and we belong to Him. If that is not enough, then you just go follow with the crowd of this world and see what would happen.

Are you saved? Are your love ones and friends saved in the grace of God through Jesus Christ? Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3.)

If you are lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus Christ and want to know Him as your personal Savior and Lord of your life, please consider asking Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your life. Paul says, "That if you confess with your mouth, `Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believed and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10.) If you have done in your private room or workplace, then you need to tell to your friends or love ones about what you have done, so they may rejoice with you and want to have that relationship with Christ in their own life. There are many occults in the world, which do not know the love of God and His great plan for those who believe in Him. As it is written in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Focus unto Jesus During Crisis
And said, If thou wilt diligently hearken to the voice of the LORD thy God, and wilt do that which is right in his sight, and wilt give ear to his commandments, and keep all his statutes, I will put none of these diseases upon thee, which I have brought upon the Egyptians: for I am the LORD that healeth thee. (Exodus 15:26 KJV)

I understand that it has been long time for us to adjust a new normal since this global pandemic began throughout the world. Some people are making a demand for our leaders to return to normal. Even though we cannot change our current global situation, we need to keep eyes on Jesus. Many people have been dying due to COVID-19 or hospitalized. Many people point their fingers to political leaders to fix the problem. Even though this global pandemic crisis was created by the secret governmental scientists and hard to find solution to fix their mistakes, we need to look into ourselves and evaluate our relationship with Jesus Christ. Don't too much focus what's going on the news, because it only poisons us with negative and even false information. Instead, focus onto Jesus, because the healing process will begin with our relationship with Jesus Christ.

Heal the Nation
Topic: Nation
If my people, which are called by my name, shall humble themselves, and pray, and seek my face, and turn from their wicked ways; then will I hear from heaven, and will forgive their sin, and will heal their land. (II Chronicles 7:14 KJV)

We just celebrated the death and resurrected our Lord Jesus Christ with unexpected circumstance. Many of you didn't have chance to go to the church to celebrated the resurrected of our Savior due to Coronavirus pandemic. Instead, you joined the service through virtual live service or drive-in service. But the church is not about we come together into the building to worship God. In I Corinthians 3:16 said, "Know ye not that ye are the temple of God, and that the Spirit of God dwelleth in you?" We are the church that God wants to use to reach out to other people with His messages of hope.

We need hope more than ever today as the Book of Revelation continues to fulfill in our generation. We see that many people have lost to stay in touch with God and decided to follow the world system. In our national government, we see that many leaders are falling apart from their faiths in God and make decision that would make everybody satisfy rather than pleasing Him. It's choatic situation that people, especially children, don't know what's right from wrong. For example, some children would think they can change who they are. Since the leaders are legalizing more ungodly laws, our nation is becoming more like the day of Gomorrah and Sodom. Now, our nation is currently facing some consequences.

Does this mean that God would never forgive our sins? No! Don't be misunderstand that God would punish all of us forever. Even though we have sinned against Him, He wants us to come home and willing to forgive our sins. That's what Jesus did for every person in the world 2000 years ago. He faced the most horrible Capitol punishment by dying on the Cross for our sins. You couldn't imagine how much blood shed from His body as Roman soldiers mocked Him physically and emotionally. As Jesus hang on the cross, Jesus said, "'Eli, Eli, lama sabachthani?' that is to say, My God, my God, why hast thou forsaken me?" (Matthew 27:46 KJV.) Can we see the agony that He faced. But He just didn't die for the whole world. On the third day (after 6pm on Saturday), He resurrected back to life. His death and resurrection demonstrates that He is willing to forgive us all our sins and give us another chance to live for Him if we'd repent.

God wants to heal our nation (and the whole world) from this global pandemic. But He cannot heal our homeland if we'd continue to live in our ways. We need to surrender our wills and let God take over our homeland. Since Obama took over the White House, we have seen our Christian values was really dropping and increasing more evil ways of living, such as providing more funding to abortion industries for women have the right to murder unborn baby, legalizing drugs, and advocating for LGBTQ. Now, since the Trump administrators took over, things are getting even more worse. Almost all Americans are against this president. Have you seen the news lately? Most media news have been reporting Trump negatively. Since Coronavirus started, we have seen many deaths all over the world, especially in our homeland. I recently read one of Facebook posts that said two people killed during pandemic crisis in the Obama administration, and thousands have died during the Trump administration. Most of all Americans may against Trump while Christians try to protect Him. We cannot play favoritism on our leaders. Whether he is your leader or not, we need to put trust and rely upon God and make judgmental decision according to His will.

Let's bring God back to our homeland rather than putting trust in our leaders. But we need to continue to pray for our leaders to make right decision for our nation.

Global Crisis II
Topic: End of the Age
And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come. (Matthew 24:14 KJV)

"When we come into our kingdom (New World Order) our orators will expound great problems which have turned humanity upside down in order to bring the world, at the end under our beneficent rule." (Bill Cooper, Behold A Pale Horse, p. 303).

"... secret societies were planning as far back as 1917 to create an artificial threat ... to bring the world together in a global government called the New World Order." [Bill Cooper, Behold A Pale Horse, p. 27]

Do you see what is happening as Coronavirus has been spreading all over the world? Many businesses have been shut down. People just cannot leave from home rather than for essential stuff. Even the churches have been shut down due to this global pandemic crisis. If the church would have more than ten people, there would be a consequence for the leader of the church: either pastor would have to pay fine or go to jail for at least a year. Are we beginning to see loose our religious freedom?

I do not believe that spreading this global pandemic and other viruses to the rest of the world is by accident. Since the event at Garden of Eden, Satan tried to take over God's creation and pull His people out from Him. One of the way Satan can take over the world is through the New World Order, which it explains in Revelation 13. This Coronavirus may have been well planned by the global government or secret societies. It is a battle between God and His rebellious angel, Satan. Satan cannot control everybody in the world unless they are in group under the governmental authority. This Coronavirus could be just start point of the "beginning of the end."

Are you ready for the returning of our Lord Jesus Christ for His bride? If not, get ready for the exciting day when everybody in the world will see His coming to clean up sins of the world before He would settle His government with His people. Please don't miss the opportunity while there is still have time for you to establish your personal relationship with Him.

If you don't know who Jesus is or if you are lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus Christ, please consider asking Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your life. There are many religious groups in the world, which do not know the love of God and His great plan for those who believe in Him. As it is written in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

You will have bless week.

Global Crisis 2020
Topic: End of the Age

As the Coronavirus is spreading over the world, people are starting to preparing for the worse. Look at the news, there are thousands of people already have effected and some of them already have died due to Coronavirus. Even though the news media said that they are helping us to prepare for the worst, their reports don't seem to be encouraging to us to overcome this global health issues. It's all negative reports and some are informative that could help us to avoid this disease.

Who we could turn to during the global crisis? Beginning Revelation 6 we see that Gods judgments would pour upon the earth. There are three sets of 7 judgments that the earth must go through before the millennium years would begin.

Revelation 6 predicted that there would be horsemen appear that would make many global crises throughout the earth. Read verse 8: "And I looked, and behold a pale horse: and his name that sat on him was Death, and Hell followed with him. And power was given unto them over the fourth part of the earth, to kill with sword, and with hunger, and with death, and with the beasts of the earth." Is this verse sound familiar? We see that many people have suffered through violence, health issues, and food. Is this horseman talking about the current global pandemic crisis? I believe that our generation continues to see and experience the birth pain of God's wrath before there will be the global peace through Jesus Christ. The Bible also said that we, as believers in Christ, will rule the earth with Him.

So, what we can do now?

1) Rely and trust in Jesus. He is the answer to all of our problems. We have gone astray from God for a very long time. Now, we are suffering for it. Even though He didn't create Coronavirus for us to suffer, we put our trust in government and politic to face some consequences. If you are a bible student or student of the biblical prophecy, you will find out what the government is doing may not be beneficial to us.

2) Don't just hear the reports from the news medias. Even though we can find out what's going on the world now through the media source, they may not tell us the whole truth. Do we know why Donald Trump have received so many criticisms since he entered into the White House? Do we know why the previous president received several honors while he turned this nation upside down?

Americans decided to let God go and going with our desires. We decided to follow the system of this world and the darkness took over this nation. Morality has gone. Children cannot draw anything that is related to Christianity in the art classroom. Now, children are confused with their identities and let them to choose their own gender rather than accepting who they really are. Did God make mistake? If He is, why they are here? It is impossible that they can choose their own identity before coming out from mothers' wombs. God said in Jeremiah 1:5, "Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations." If we'd reject God as Creator, we are saying that we are gods; we don't have beginning and end. And come with another critical question: Who created us?

If we focus on Jesus, there is no weapon formed against us (Isaiah 54:17). Paul said in Romans 8:38-39, "For I am persuaded, that neither death, nor life, nor angels, nor principalities, nor powers, nor things present, nor things to come, nor height, nor depth, nor any other creature, shall be able to separate us from the love of God, which is in Christ Jesus our Lord."

I believe that this Coronavirus is another awakening call from God, even though this disease was from the man. Every global event is leading us into the day of glory where we will see the returning of Jesus to judge this world and bring us back to rule the world with Him. In the meantime, time is ticking into the global national disasters, which it will lead into the final stage of World War III.

Are you ready when Jesus would return to take His people to His kingdom? Are you ready to face against the enemy with Him? We are in a war zone now. Even though all the nations are going crazy, we are in a spiritual battle that against the real enemy, Satan. This generation will end soon, but God is patiently waiting for you to be on a board with Him. He does not want to lose you forever.

Are you saved? Are your love ones and friends saved in the grace of God through Jesus Christ? As Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3.)

If you don't know who Jesus is or if you are lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus Christ, please consider asking Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your life. There are many religious groups in the world, which do not know the love of God and His great plan for those who believe in Him. As it is written in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Teach Our Children
Topic: Discipline

And these words, which I command thee this day, shall be in thine heart: And thou shalt teach them diligently unto thy children, and shalt talk of them when thou sittest in thine house, and when thou walkest by the way, and when thou liest down, and when thou risest up. And thou shalt bind them for a sign upon thine hand, and they shall be as frontlets between thine eyes. And thou shalt write them upon the posts of thy house, and on thy gates. (Deuteronomy 6:6-9 KJV)

If you want your children would have successful life, we must teach our children diligently to see God in all aspects of life, not just those that are church related. The news recently reported that one of third grader students decided to suicide himself. The reason was unknown. His action made other fellow students frighten. Even though this generation is scary time for those who do not have relationship with Jesus Christ, we need to involve with our youngsters in all aspects of life and lead them into Jesus Christ. It's so sad for them to decide to end their lives as they just started their journeys.

We do not just lead them to churches and schools to receive education, even though the places are good for them. We also need to share God's Words with them. That's why the BIBLE also stands for "be informed before leaving the earth." Jeremiah 29:11 said, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, saith the LORD, thoughts of peace, and not of evil, to give you an expected end." In New King James said, "For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the LORD, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope."

Hebrews 11:40 mention that "God has provided some better thing for us," even our children. God is looking for children to do better things in near future. He doesn't want to see that children would hurt for themselves, such as what we heard from the news media. I do not care if you do not have children, they are looking up to you to feed them with words of wisdom, especially wisdom from the Words of God. We are responsible to nurture them with our actions and words.

Quality Time with God
Likewise, ye younger, submit yourselves unto the elder. Yea, all of you be subject one to another, and be clothed with humility: for God resisteth the proud, and giveth grace to the humble.   Humble yourselves therefore under the mighty hand of God, that he may exalt you in due time:   Casting all your care upon him; for he careth for you. (1 Peter 5:5-7 KJV)

How often we spend each day to have quality time with our Heavenly Father? Five minutes? Twenty minutes? We have spent a lot of times with our families, friends, and jobs, but we have no room for God to intervene with us. We put Him in the box rather than having some quality time with Him. Jesus did not die for us, so we can free from the satanic trap. No! Apostle Paul said in Romans 5:8, "But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us." Jesus died for us, so that we can back to fellowship with Him. The word "fellowship" is a Greek term koinonia, which it means association or communion. We go to the church because not only hear from the words of God, but we can fellowship with our brothers and sisters in Christ. But we also need to have time to spend one-on-one with God.

Being a Follower of Christ
Topic: Discipline

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. For what is a man profited, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul? (Matthew 16:24-26 KJV)

Being a follower of Christ may seems to be challenged, but it is worth it for our eternal life. There is no person on the earth who denied himself than Jesus. He suffered for our sins by facing the death penalty on the cross by Roman soldiers. Even though most of His people laughed at Him, Jesus died for the sins of the world. Paul said in Philippians 2:5-8, "Let this mind be in you, which was also in Christ Jesus: Who, being in the form of God, thought it not robbery to be equal with God: But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross."

Why Jesus suffered for us? Even though He can call His angels, He demonstrated His love for us by taking an action that no one able can do for his friends. God doesn't want us to become religious, but relationship.

He is Our Jehovah-Jireh
Topic: Calvary
Now he that ministereth seed to the sower both minister bread for your food, and multiply your seed sown, and increase the fruits of your righteousness;) Being enriched in every thing to all bountifulness, which causeth through us thanksgiving to God. For the administration of this service not only supplieth the want of the saints, but is abundant also by many thanksgivings unto God… (2 Corinthians 9:10-12 KJV)

In his book, The Lord's Prayer, Drew Hsinger said, "Some translations of the Lord’s Prayer say, 'Give us this day our daily bread.' I kind of paraphrased it, 'God, give us today what we need for today.' This is an acknowledgement that God is our source." Is God your Jehovah-Jireh every day? Who get you up this morning? If God is not the source of your life, you'd not be living today.

Do you know why many young people have failed from schools today? God is not centered of your household. I understand that many psychologists may tell us that we do not have solid good communication to each other or we have so many financial problems in our lives, but the number one issue is that God is not at the center of our lives. Paul said in Philippians 4:19, "But my God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus." God will provide us whatever we need to go through another day if we'd ask Him. He is our Jehovah-Jireh.

Our Satisfactory
Topic: Goal
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. -- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:11-13 KJV)

Do we satisfy with what we have? Maybe or not? If we would not learn how to be content with everything we currently have, how God can bless us? In his book, The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment, Jeremiah Burroughs said, "A carnal heart knows no way to be contented but this: I have such and such possessions, and if I had this added to them, and the other comfort added that I have not now, then I should be contented. But contentment does not come in that way, it does not come, I say, by adding to what you want, but by subtracting from your desires."

We need to let go some stuffs. Even though God created the earth for us to dwell in, He allowed Satan to rule over the earth for a while. And the earth is filled with all the unhealthy stuffs for our spirit men as well as our physical bodies, such as body tattoos, alcohol/drug, adult entertainment industry, and more. Although there is nothing wrong for having something more (new car, new house, clothes, etc.), we need to be content with what we have before adding them to our closets.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:30-32, "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." Being worrying for stuffs would divide our relationship with Jesus Christ. There are healthy and unhealthy ways to worry. Let us to be content with everything we have by trusting and relying on Jesus Christ.

Does God Hear Us?
Topic: Prayer

And when the Lord saw that he turned aside to see, God called unto him out of the midst of the bush, and said, Moses, Moses. And he said, Here am I. And he said, Draw not nigh hither: put off thy shoes from off thy feet, for the place whereon thou standest is holy ground. Moreover he said, I am the God of thy father, the God of Abraham, the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. And Moses hid his face; for he was afraid to look upon God. (Exodus 3:4-6 KJV)

Does God hear you when you pray to Him? God hears us when we pray, but we often time to forget to listen to His voice. We just pray to Him without willing to listen to His voice. God is willing to answer you, but are you willing to listen to Him? We need to put God at the center of our lives rather than putting Him in the box.

Moses' Successor
Topic: Leadership Training
Now after the death of Moses the servant of the Lord it came to pass, that the Lord spake unto Joshua the son of Nun, Moses' minister, saying, Moses my servant is dead; now therefore arise, go over this Jordan, thou, and all this people, unto the land which I do give to them, even to the children of Israel. Every place that the sole of your foot shall tread upon, that have I given unto you, as I said unto Moses. (Joshua 1:1-3 KJV)

The Book of Joshua is all about how the people of Israel conquered the land that God promised to them. Now, since Moses went to be in the Paradise, God called Joshua to lead His people to the Promise Land. As you see, Moses didn't go straight up to Heaven, because Jesus had not resurrect from the dead yet. Paul said in Colossians 1:18, "And he is the head of the body, the church: who is the beginning, the firstborn from the dead; that in all things he might have the preeminence."

Now, Joshua was turned to lead his people. The name Joshua has significant meaning to it. Hebrew word for Joshua is "Yhwh-saved." It is same definition to Jesus. As we read in this passage, God encouraged Joshua to lead His people. He knew that His people were very hard to please them, but He wanted to show them the land that would flow with milk and honey. God is merciful God. He wants to have relationship with each of His children.

Misusing of Prayer Method
Topic: Prayer

Is any sick among you? let him call for the elders of the church; and let them pray over him, anointing him with oil in the name of the Lord: And the prayer of faith shall save the sick, and the Lord shall raise him up; and if he have committed sins, they shall be forgiven him. Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. (James 5:14-16 KJV)

Prayer is not just for healing. It is communication between you and God alone. I see that some people like to post their prayer request from sickness on Facebook, so that they can either pray an actual prayer for the person or just they feel sorry for the person. I hate to post a prayer on Facebook for everyone can see it for these reasons:

1) Every Facebook friends may not believe what you believe. Instead, post your prayer request to the specific group of friend(s), who is really going to pray for you.

2) Don't just ask your friend(s) to pray for your sickness without your input. God can hear your friend's request to heal you. But you must do your part for God to heal you.

3) We must accept what God gives us than according to our wishes. He knows the best things what we need.

The Veil of the Temple
Topic: Calvary

And, behold, the veil of the temple was rent in twain from the top to the bottom; and the earth did quake, and the rocks rent; And the graves were opened; and many bodies of the saints which slept arose, And came out of the graves after his resurrection, and went into the holy city, and appeared unto many. (Matthew 27:51-53 KJV)

The death of Jesus didn't end at the Calvary. At the moment of Jesus died on the cross, the veil of the temple was ripped off from the top to the bottom. This shows that we have totally  access to God because Jesus broke the wall between man and God. Then the earthquake was violently erupted and the people were rose from the graves.  In all these eruptions after the death of Jesus shows us that the enemy cannot defeat Him. So he cannot get a victory over us as long as we have Jesus in us. The death would last only for a moment, but having a life could last forever. I say this because there are two ways to live a life.

Psalms 1 tells us that we can have a bless life or ungodly. We can have life that fill with God's blessing. Even though we are living in this corrupted worldly system, we can have abundant life, because the earth belongs to God. Satan thinks that the earth belongs to him since God let him to take control over the world. This is totally misunderstanding. In Job, we read that God gave a permission for Satan to try to mess around with Job's life with one condition. Satan cannot touch Job.

Now let's turn back to the death of Jesus on the cross. Even Satan didn't defeat Him at the wilderness, he thought using His people could bring Him into justice. That was a huge mistake. He cannot kill God who formed him in the beginning of the world.

His Experience to the Calvary
Topic: Calvary
He is despised and rejected of men; a man of sorrows, and acquainted with grief: and we hid as it were our faces from him; he was despised, and we esteemed him not. (Isaiah 53:3 KJV)

Throughout Isaiah 53, Isaiah painted this suffering servant, who faced too many rejection and mock by his people. Of course, God gave Isaiah a vision of Jesus' last week on the earth. His last week on Earth didn't go well. One time, people followed Him around. Not because of His messages, but of His miracle working hands. They wanted Him to perform miracle to heal their sicknesses and fill their empty stomachs. At one time, they cried to Him, "Hosanna (see Matthew 21:9, 15; Mark 11:9-10; John 12:13)." People praised Him as a King, who would govern the land, not as Savior of this corrupted world. But at His final hours, Jesus faced most horrific capitol punishment because of rejections that He received from His people. People thought that He was going to be their King of the land. But as more people hear the messages, they believed that He constricted against the Words of God, even they have waited for Him to return to them so long.

John 1:11 says, "He came unto his own, and his own received him not." How you feel if your people just ignore you? Even Prophet Jeremiah felt the pain when his people mocked him as he shared the warning from the Words of God. It was very devastating situation. For Jesus, it was more devastating situation. Not only He spent sometimes in jail, He had to face many slaps on His back with string and then final punishment for Him to face the death on the cross. Even Jesus faced many rejections throughout His life, He didn't turn against His people. Instead, He took our sins for us at the Calvary, so that we can establish our relationship with Him forever.

False Credit Claim
Topic: Deception

Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. (Matthew 7:22-23 KJV)

Even today, we see that some pastors misuse the name of Jesus for their own personal gain. There is a televangelist who sells a cloth for healing over the body for $25 or more. It's just a cloth and there is no power in the cloth, except the power when we speak over it in the name of Jesus. We cannot receive any credit when the people receive healing, except God.  John 9:2-3 declares, "And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? Jesus answered, Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him."
