God is Able

Now unto him that is able to do exceeding abundantly above all that we ask or think, according to the power that worketh in us, Unto him be glory in the church by Christ Jesus throughout all ages, world without end. Amen. (Ephesians 4:20-21 KJV)

Most preachers may use Ephesians 4:20 as to believe that God can give us financial blessings. But we should not use this verse to proclaim only for our financial blessings, rather than, in every part of our lives. God can give us things that we prayed for, but He can give us more than we’d ask for if we’d ask Him for things sincerely in our hearts. God can able to work with us in His plan.

God also can work with us greatly whether or not we are in physical situation. Although you may received some rejections to employ some places due to your disability, God can hire you as just as you are. Paul says in I Corinthians 1:27-29, “But God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty; And base things of the world, and things which are despised, hath God chosen, yea, and things which are not, to bring to nought things that are: That no flesh should glory in his presence.” We don’t need some special recognition to employ at the mission field.

Pharisees misunderstood what Jesus was doing on the Sabbath Day to heal the blind man (John 9). They didn’t understand that Sabbath was made for all the people to rest upon the Lord from their hard work. Sadly, we ignore the Sabbath Day over centuries and misplace it with our schedules.

We need to rely more on God and believe that He can able to use everybody to accomplish His plan. If you are physical disabled person, you don’t need to listen to all negative things about you. I had been there and it was not much encourage to me. But God doesn’t give discouragement and let us down immediately. Even though the challenge may seem impossible to complete, God will give a lot of encouragement and stay with us until the end of the course.

Are you distress to hear all the negative things about you? Don’t let your people pull down you easily. Instead, fill your life with God’s Words that are encouraging to help you to get through obstacles in your daily life and let the Holy Spirit guides you.

Making Wrong Choice
Topic: Living Life

And Esau was forty years old when he took to wife Judith the daughter of Beeri the Hittite, and Bashemath the daughter of Elon the Hittite: Which were a grief of mind unto Isaac and to Rebekah. (Genesis 26:34-35 KJV)

Living a life is all about making some choices for our own life. We all have to make decision to continue to live our lives. Even though we are made from the image of God, it doesn’t mean that He has to choose which way we should live a life. But God gave us the freewill to make some decisions for our own life.

In Genesis 1:26-30, we read that God created the man and gave him the dominion over the earth to make fruit (or character), multiply and replenish the earth, and subdue it. Even God gave assign Adam to name all the animals in the earth. This means that Adam has to make a decision to make names of each animal. Also, since God instituted the marriage between Adam and Eve, they had to make decision what kind of life that they should live for as unity. Of course, their marriage life became disaster after they decided to obey the command of serpent rather than God.

What kind of decision we’d to make for our lives? We see that many families have been broken from the unity; and decide to go their own way. Look at Esau and see how he made his parents’ hearts broken. He didn’t listen to his parents and got a wife for himself from the Hittite. Matthew Henry wrote in his Commentary of the Whole Bible, “It grieved them that he married without asking, or at least without taking, their advice and consent: see whose steps those children tread in who either contemn or contradict their parents in disposing of themselves.” We see the same mistake that Esau made in our generation.

Of course, marriage is considered as honorable act in all (Hebrews 12:4), but we changed the law of marriage that constricts from the words of God. We hear that some states of our country have been voted the gay marriage as constitutional. Or we hear that some public schools decide to wipe off the grade system.

This is not only the battle of liberty, but it’s also spiritual battle. Our country is like two sides of coin. We have Christian side and Pagan side in one nation. Even though ACLU is trying to help our country back to Christian nation, they also help to put the homosexual laws back to America. Jesus says in Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other…”

There is a bottom line in battle, so is with making a decision for ourselves. Even though there are many churches across the America, it doesn’t mean that every church leaders and members have decided to follow Jesus Christ all the way. We all have made wrong choices that don’t please God in our lifetimes. But this doesn’t mean we’d stay there either. We’d need to stand backup and be transformed by the renewing of our minds (see Romans 12:2).

Proverbs 3:5-6 says, “Trust in the LORD with all thine heart; and lean not unto thine own understanding. In all thy ways acknowledge him, and he shall direct thy paths.”

Spiritual Disability
Topic: Power of Disabilities
And Jesus said, For judgment I am come into this world, that they which see not might see; and that they which see might be made blind. And some of the Pharisees which were with him heard these words, and said unto him, Are we blind also? (John 9:39-40 KJV)

Many people may tell you that being a disabled person means that some parts of her or his body cannot function right. Or some people may ask disabled man that if he is normal. What is “normal” anyway? If the person doesn’t have some kind of disabilities, is it means that he’s normal? In fact, every person in the world will become disabled. One of agencies said that by 2010, there would be about thousands people will turn to 60s and become disabled.

Since we understand that we cannot prevent from becoming disability, we must understand that we all have spiritual blindness or spiritual disability. This mean that we hardly escape from darkness and see the truth of light that comes from God. But we can escape from it before we’d die. Roman
3:23 tells us that we all have sinned and come short of the glory of God. Although we are made in the image of God, we were sinners—blinded from seeing the truth of God.

Read John 9:39-40. Jesus tried to set this former disabled man free from the darkness of his soul; and He may try to convict the Pharisees’ souls, too. John 3:3 says that we have to born again to see or to access the kingdom of God. We have to born in spirit to break the prison chains in the darkness of our souls. We cannot stop to being spiritual disabled without to receive your birth right from the Holy Spirit.

Although we cannot change who we are in physically, we can change our hearts into spirit-filling of our souls, spirits, and minds. In II Timothy 1:7 says, “For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind.” We have the power to overcome any obstacle that blocks our way to access to our Heavenly Father’s lap. We have God who loves us unconditionally, so we love our people no matter how they look, racial background, or how religiously they are. We have the command from our Father to reach the lost souls to Him with the love of God. Also, we have the sound mind, so we can judge ourselves what is right from wrong. Before God judges us, we have the chance to look ourselves over what we’ve done wrong.

Would you like to set free from being spiritual disabled? Although you cannot set free from physical situation, you can set free from your spiritual blindness and see the light of truth. Invite Jesus Christ to your life. It’s just simple. If you are Roman Catholicism or other religion system, or maybe you addict to something, such as pornography, cigar, or anything that draw yourself away from God, you can set free from these chains by accepting Jesus Christ. You can say good-bye to Satan forever. And begin to walk to your Heavenly Father, who began to search for you to come into His lap to love and care for you.

Psalm 27:10 says, “When my father and my mother forsake me, then the LORD will take me up.”

Test of Lust
Topic: Living Life

One day at about this time Potiphar’s wife began making eyes at Joseph, and suggested that he come and sleep with her. Joseph refused. “Look,” he told her, “my master trusts me with everything in the entire household; he himself has no more authority here than I have! He has held back nothing from me except you yourself because you are his wife. How can I do such a wicked thing as this? It would be a great sin against God.” (Genesis 39:7-9 KJV)

We all have lust something for ourselves. It could be desired to buy a new vehicle for your family, multimillion dollar of home, going to Hawaii for your summer vacation, or whatever your heart is desired, you’d want to fulfill your goal. Most of us may have learned that the word “lust” seem to be related to bad thing. It only seems to be bad thing if we would look the thing in wrong way. God wants let us to have lust to something in our lives. He didn’t make us as robots, but as mankind that could have the freedom of choices.

In Genesis 37, we see that Satan is trying to use Potipher’s wife to tempt Joseph with sexual lust. Even though God created sexual relationship between one man and one woman, it can be ugly if we’d try to us in a way of this world. The world tells you that you can have safe sex with anyone at anytime, but God says that it must be within marriage with one man and one woman. Although sex may seem to be testing us in surprising way, we must remember that we need to control our lusts by examine what the Scripture tells us.

King David failed to control his lust (II Samuel 11). Instead of going with his armies to fight against the Ammonites, David stayed at his palace and fooling around with Bathsheba, Uriah’s wife. It’s hard to control our lusts when we’d move away from the main focus. For David, he lost his focus to settle his people’s land when his flesh took over his spirit.

I believe that the most of American churches may struggle with controlling lusts. We see that many ministries may have made themselves multibillionaire rather than spreading God’s messages to the lost souls. Here at MGJC Web Ministry, this ministry’s goal is not about making this web famous and making multibillionaire, but sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ and His free gift of salvation with people like you through their home computers. This ministry doesn’t sell anything for money. Instead, it contains FREE inspirational messages and resources that people can use to educate themselves and others to know Jesus Christ and build relationship with Him personally.

Don’t Blame God for Anything
Topic: Power of Disabilities

Therefore said some of the Pharisees, This man is not of God, because he keepeth not the sabbath day. Others said, How can a man that is a sinner do such miracles? And there was a division among them. (John
9:16 KJV)

Have you ever complain to God for anything? Have you feel like if nobody cares about your disability or illness? Of course, we all have experienced in our life with depression. We may have decided to give up our life and mad at God or someone with our situations. If you are in physical condition, you may hear many negative things that come into your mind and decide to follow what your mind said.

Let’s look why the Pharisees decided to mad at Jesus’ work on the Sabbath Day (Saturday). They were making difficult to the situation. Remember, Pharisees were trying to obey all the laws in the first five books of the Old Testament. If we read following verses after John 9:16, we see that Pharisees were making more complicated situations to both Jesus and the man, who was blinded.

Why is that? Pharisees were trying to accuse Jesus for disobeying God’s law on Sabbath. As we read through all four gospels, they were trying to succeed to accuse Jesus by justifying God’s laws. We, too, sometimes believe that God needs our help by adding our ideas to His. This is what many today’s churches set in their minds on and it’s pretty sad.

Jesus doesn’t need our help, except what He gave us to do. He didn’t need Pharisees’ help to heal the blind man. Don’t blame God about why the cripple man heals on Saturday. Exodus 16:29 says that God gave us a Sabbath. He wants us to rest upon Him on the end of our work for the week. It means that we can energize our strengths for the following week by resting upon God’s care. If He wants to heal somebody on Saturday, there is no reason why we question to Him. We need to learn close our mouths when God decides to do something in our individual life.

If God doesn’t heal you physically, it means that He wants to begin to heal your inner being first and wants to use your physical situation in a greater way. Don’t deny yourself for not receiving physical healing. Or don’t just go to Evangelical Christian Healing Services for that, but believe and trust God in faith that He has a greater plan in your life.

Battle of Jealousy
Topic: Living Life

And Jacob dwelt in the land wherein his father was a stranger, in the land of Canaan. These are the generations of Jacob. Joseph, being seventeen years old, was feeding the flock with his brethren; and the lad was with the sons of Bilhah, and with the sons of Zilpah, his father’s wives: and Joseph brought unto his father their evil report. Now Israel loved Joseph more than all his children, because he was the son of his old age: and he made him a coat of many colours. And when his brethren saw that their father loved him more than all his brethren, they hated him, and could not speak peaceably unto him. (Genesis 37:1-4 KJV)

Have you been compared yourself with the other people? We all may have been jealous to something or someone. Like Esau and Jacob, we sometimes to create argument with one another by just being jealous. Even though it’s an emotional stress, we have no reason to jealous about in life.

In Genesis 37, we see that Joseph’s brothers hated him because their father, Jacob (Israel), only favored his youngest son, Joseph. Israel’s pass memory still has corrupted him. He cannot let go why his father made him the second class and not to Esau. The battle begins within the family and not from the two foreign countries. Since Cain killed his brother, we have so divided up with lands. Why? We learned that the other foreign countries hated us.

Let’s look to Islamic religion for a moment. Although the word “Islam” means peace, we cannot have a peace with them until we’d surrender our Christianity heritage. They decide to fight against Christians because we are helping our brethrens, Jewish nation—Israel. Because Satan hates to see us to helping our Jewish brethrens, he is trying to use the Islamic nations to try to wipe the lands of Israel and United State from the global map.

Jealousy is a sin and it can be destroyed our relationships with our people. We cannot let God be jealous by astray from Him. The Bible says that He is a jealous God. This means that there is no room for other gods to join with Him to govern the universe.

As we read through Genesis 37, his brothers hated him even more, because Joseph blabbered his visions to them to show-off. We should try to untie with each other through the love of Jesus Christ rather than to tearing apart.

Who Made the Disabled Person?
Topic: Power of Disabilities
And his disciples asked him, saying, Master, who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind? (John 9:2 KJV)

In John 9, Jesus’ disciples asked a question as they passed by the street with Him and saw a blind man. Their question to Him was “…who did sin, this man, or his parents, that he was born blind?” In other words, who can he blame for his disability? Is God? Is his parents? Is his ancestors?
We may know the one or two (or perhaps more) of reasons the person who come as disabled. First ones is through car accident or misusing the drugs. If the person drives his car like a wild man, there is a good chance to have either serious death or serious brain/body damage. In fact, most people who are in the rehabilitation services came from car or other physical accident. Second is through birth. For example, if the mother of unborn child miscarried her baby in her womb, there is a good chance that the baby would come out as paralyzed. One of the examples is when the mother of the child constantly smoke cigar while she has an unborn child. This cause the newborn may have breathed problem and may end with death.
As we are getting older, we, too, will become disabled permanently until we’d come to end of earthly life. Although we’d dislike to hear this, but we all will face the dead bed sometimes in our lives. God didn’t start to make us as disabled being. He doesn’t like to end of our lives. Before Adam chose to disobey God’s command, He intended let human beings to live forever. Because the sin entered into the world through Adam and Eve, God decided to let human being to live on the earth no more than 120 years. Also, God gave let Adam and Eve face their consequence to live on the earth. That’s where reducing aging process began. The Bible tells us that Adam lived his life for 950 years before his last breathe (Genesis 5:5). Then, we read in Genesis 5-11 that aging began to decreasing.
This doesn’t mean we all have limited life or disabled life because the first Adam. No! If we blame Adam for our sinful lives, then we actually blame God. We all have sinned (Romans 3:23), not because of Adam, but because it’s our mistakes and fall to sinned. Also, we cannot blame God for our physical limitation. I have physical disability since the birth, but I cannot blame God for who I am. I tried to ask myself why questions, but they don’t effect to me. I have to accept who I am. I cannot ask God to change my body right now, but believe that I can do anything through Jesus Christ, who gives me strength (cf. Philippians 4:13).
Although His disciples tried to blame for somebody on the man’s blindness, there was a greater purpose of why he has no vision. Jesus said in John 9:3-5,” Neither hath this man sinned, nor his parents: but that the works of God should be made manifest in him. I must work the works of him that sent me, while it is day: the night cometh, when no man can work. As long as I am in the world, I am the light of the world.”
Are you tired of your life? Don’t try to change who you are, but accept it. God created you and me just as He wanted, so that He can use us for greater purpose. There is no other gods who could give us life with the great plan.

The Spiritual WWF
Topic: Living Life

And let us arise, and go up to Bethel ; and I will make there an altar unto God, who answered me in the day of my distress, and was with me in the way which I went. (Genesis 35:3 KJV)

Have you watched the WWF Wrestling Match? Although I’m not into WWF, everybody, include myself, have been into the spiritual wrestling match ring. We all have been dealing with problems and there is none of us have lived without issues. Even Jesus went through the wrestling match while He was on the earth.

In Genesis, we see that Jacob was having a hard time to obey God and go to see his big brother, Esau. We have learned that Esau and Jacob had problems while they were in youthful ages. Although it was not easy for Jacob to forgive his brother’s sin, God commanded him to go to Esau. God cannot give him more blessing until he would deal his problems with Esau.

In the same matter, we cannot go closer to God’s presence until we’d go into the wrestling match ring and deal with our issues. We cannot keep having victory unless we’d need to learn how to be losers and get ourselves up again.

God wants us to be victorious, not just victory. If we read later part of Genesis 35, God gave Jacob a new name— Israel . Jacob means supplanter and Israel means God strives. If we want to have greater purpose for God’s kingdom, we must go through the wrestling ring and deal with problems first. Many of us may don’t like to hear this or go through fire to shape our characters. Just as Daniel’s friends went through furnace to shape their characters, God wants us to go through our problems with trusting upon Him.

Ready, Set, and Go
Topic: New Year

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. (I Corinthians
9:24 KJV)

As we are getting come near to the brand new year, it is the time for us to make a New Year resolution. What would your New Year resolution be for the year 2007? Some of us may hear from pastors expressed that the year 2007 would be the great year. Although we don’t know the year 2007 would be great or not, we need to seek God for the direction before we would run in a race to grab the New Year resolution.

As I said before, we all are in a race to reach our goals. Apostle Paul told us that we have to run to try to obtain the prize. We have to exercise and make our bodies workout to get into the finishing line of race. This is the same method that Paul also tries to teach us as we’d mediate on God’s Word each day. We need to have continual communication with God through prayer, meditating on His Words, and fasting. Fasting doesn’t need to be related to food, but we need to stay away from something that we’d desire to have for while, such as TV, computer, radio, etc., and begin to seek on God’s face. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Some of us may have wrong mindset of the New Year resolution. For example, some people may decide to loose weight from 280 lbs. to 150 lbs. for the next 12 months. The New Year resolution is not about self-serving, but it’s about God. Right now, there are many preachers who teach more on self-serving Christians than how we can worship God. Their definition of God’s blessing is all about earthly wealth, fame, and power. Of course, God can bless us to these earthly things, but it’s more than just receiving earthly treasure.

Genesis 1 tells us that God created all the things in this world and He blessed it. John 1 Colossians 1 tell us that if Jesus Christ didn’t create anything in this world, the earth would not be existed and we will not be alive. He cannot share His blessing with us if the earth wouldn’t exist.

Why not let us set our own new goal on aside and begin to give honor and praise God for the New Year and what would He be going to do in your life. The Year 2007 could be the best of the year in your life.

God is Our Emmanuel
Topic: Jesus Christ

Behold, a virgin shall be with child, and shall bring forth a son, and they shall call his name Emmanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us. (Matthew
1:23 KJV)

If we go back to Isaiah 7:14, Isaiah prophesied that there would be coming of a day when the young woman will give a birth to a special young Child, so He can be with us. Of course, Isaiah prophesied about the first coming of Jesus Christ through Virgin Mary.

We usually use this verse apply to Christmas or if we are Catholics, it refers to Virgin Mary is equal to God, which means Mary is the Queen of Heaven (cf. Jeremiah 44). Either of the terms for Matthew 1:23 doesn’t fit to the biblical standard of its meaning.

Why we refer Jesus as our Emmanuel (God with us)? Why not we just call Him our Savior or Messiah? Jesus is more than just being our Savior and Messiah. He wants a special relationship with us that would last for eternity. Let’s read what the KJV Study Bible has to say for Emmanuel: “Immanuel, which being interpreted is, God with us: This is a title describing the deity of the person of the Son of God rather than a name actually used by Him. It implies God will come to dwell among His own people, which He did in the person of Christ.” ((Thomas Nelson, Inc., King James Version Study Bible [computer file], electronic ed., Logos Library System, (Nashville: Thomas Nelson) 1997, c1988 by Liberty University.)

God wants more of us. Because there was a block between God and us, which is our sins, He decided to bring His Son, Jesus, to break the block for us to across over to our Holy Father.

Jesus died and resurrected on the third day (72 hours, not 1 ½ day as most churches would believe), so He can be with us all the time and we have the free access to Him. Although most churches celebrate Christ’s birth on the Christmas Day, we should honor and celebrate His birth, life, ministry, death and resurrection every day.

God wants to have relationship with us while we still are living on the earth and for eternity. He is our Emmanuel.

Why He Came By?

For unto us a child is born, unto us a son is given: and the government shall be upon his shoulder: and his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace. (Isaiah 9:6 KJV)

Although some of us may don’t believe that Christmas does relate to Christ’s birth, we are mandated to lift His name everyday of the year, especially during the month of December. Jesus said, “All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.” (Matthew 28:18-20)

About a couple centuries before the birth of our Messiah, Isaiah prophesied that there will be a Child born to us to take over the world. His name shall be great. Although there was silent gap for almost 400 years between the last book of Old Testament and the first book of New Testament, I believe that God was still working on His plan and spoke to His individual people.

The Bible tells us God brought His Son, Jesus, to us because He wanted to demonstrate us how much He wanted more of us. Paul said in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” If God doesn’t love us, then why Isaiah called Him Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace? Unfortunately, this was not case. He is love. God loves you and me from the very beginning before we formed in the mother’s womb.

We call Him Wonderful, because He is the great God who does wonder of His creation. We call Him Counsellor, because He knows us and we have the free access to seek His help. He is the mighty God, because He has great power to defeat Satan and save us from his mindset by His grace through Jesus Christ. He is our everlasting Father, because He created us to have relationship with us. Also, He is the Prince of Peace, because He wants to have peace and enjoy life with us.

If we celebrate Christmas to receive more gifts from our love ones, then we will miss the point of why Jesus gave up for our sins at the
Calvary almost 2000 years ago. Jesus’ death and resurrection are the most valuable gifts that He wanted to give us. Do you like to have this valuable gift that you cannot find it from any jewelry store? This is the reason why Jesus came to us.

Are you and your family members save by the grace of God through Jesus Christ? Jesus died for our sins and resurrected on the third day, so we can have life with Him for now and eternality. If you like to receive this free gift of salvation, you simply ask Him to forgive of your sins and invite Him to your life. He is all you need and there is no other gods to fulfill your inner body of your soul. This can be your joy to the world.

ABC Christianity
For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life. (John 3:16 KJV)
Every Christmas time, we sing one of popular Christmas carols, Joy to the World. We sing like this:
1. Joy to the world! the Lord is come; Let earth receive her King. Let ev’ry heart prepare Him room, And heav’n and nature sing, And heav’n and nature sing, And heav’n and heav’n and nature sing.
2. Joy to the earth! the Savior reigns; Let men their songs employ; While fields and floods, rocks, hills, and plains Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat the sounding joy, Repeat, repeat the sounding joy.
3. No more let sins and sorrows grow, Nor thorns infest the ground; He comes to make His blessings flow Far as the curse is found, Far as the curse is found, Far as, far as the curse is found.
4. He rules the world with truth and grace, And makes the nations prove The glories of His righteousness, And wonders of His love, And wonders of His love, And wonders, and wonders of His love. (Joyful Noise Music Company, Logos Hymnal, (Fort Worth, TX: Joyful Noise Music Company) 1994.)
If you like Christmas season, why do you think we like to sing this hymn. The rest of the world may sing this song because the time is right to celebrate the holiday season. But that is not the reason we sing it. Even though Christmas didn’t originate from the first Christianity era, we sing Joy to the World to remind why our Almighty God brought His Son, Jesus, to the world to let Him face the penalty of death for our sins.
John 3:16 tells us that God loved His creation so much, that He doesn’t like to destroy what He created; so, He brought His Son to the corrupted world to save the lost souls from going to eternal Hell. Jesus died for the only people who accepted the free gift of salvation that He offered to them. Most preachers may tell you that Jesus died for everyone’s sins, but that is not in case here and that was not in case at the Calvary. If Jesus died for everyone, why we see many of us still are living in old sinful nature. We see some people may decide to have sex before marriage or go to the abortion client to kill unborn child from the mother’s womb. If that was in case, Jesus didn’t die for everybody.
Jesus told His disciples that He didn’t come to the world to make a peace treaty, but a sword (Matthew 10:34). He came to make separation between sheep and goat or true believers and unbelievers. Also, He came to the world to separate the family unity. If one of family members believes in Him and the rest of them not, He only takes the one person to Heaven and the rest of them fall into Hell.

Gift from God
Topic: Jesus Christ

And the angel said unto her, Fear not, Mary: for thou hast found favour with God. And, behold, thou shalt conceive in thy womb, and bring forth a son, and shalt call his name JESUS. He shall be great, and shall be called the Son of the Highest: and the Lord God shall give unto him the throne of his father David: And he shall reign over the house of Jacob for ever; and of his kingdom there shall be no end. (Luke 1:30-33 KJV)

What you would want for Christmas this year? Is it car? Is it $1,000,000? If either of item that you would want for Christmas, then you may need to re-exam your heart and check with God before you wish it. Christmas season is not about making a long wish list for Santa to purchase for you, but it’s about giving hope and encouragement to others around you. Even though this holiday was originally arrived from the pagan religion, it’s a good opportunity for Christians to share the message and love of Jesus Christ.

Even Mary received a favor from God that she’s going to birth a Son, He wants to give you a gift—a gift that has a purpose to reach the lost souls and let them to chance to receive the hope that the world cannot give them. The world may give them some cashes to live, but God will give them eternal bread that they never hunger or thirst to live. The world may them medicine that they can have healthy life for while, but God will give them healing for your body and soul that would last forever. The world may tell you to make idol and serve it to have eternal life, but you will not hear any spoken words that comes out from the statue you made.

John 3:16 tells us the reason why God sent His Son to this world was because 1) He loves us and 2) we may receive eternal life with Him. God does not want anyone to go to Hell and suffer forever, but some of us may choose to go there. I’m not talking about unbelievers, but some Christian brothers and sisters, even pastors, may choose the wide gate and would end up in the lake of fire. It’s very sad ending of their lives.

Unfortunately, God would like to give you another chance to accept His gift. The real question is: What are you going to do about it? If you accept Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, then you are guaranteed to be with Him forever. If not, you are loosing the most valuable gift for eternality. Receiving a gift from God is not like Christmas gift that you receive from Santa Clause. His gift cannot be replaced with other things. Jesus said that we cannot serve God and mammon (Matthew 6:24). Choose one. This is same thing with gift from God or from Santa Clause (world’s god).

History Researcher of Christ’s Birth
Topic: Jesus Christ

Forasmuch as many have taken in hand to set forth in order a declaration of those things which are most surely believed among us, Even as they delivered them unto us, which from the beginning were eyewitnesses, and ministers of the word; It seemed good to me also, having had perfect understanding of all things from the very first, to write unto thee in order, most excellent Theophilus, That thou mightest know the certainty of those things, wherein thou hast been instructed. (Luke 1:1-4 KJV)

What does the history researcher do? We might think the history researcher would try to find some historical evidences that happened long time ago and connect the dots to today’s society. Most today’s historian scholars are still looking for the answers that relate to our generation from the ancient history. Just as Luke did, many today’s historian scholars are trying to research carefully to look for some evidences that relate to our future, such as World War III, advanced technology, and rapture of the Church.

In the first two chapters of Luke, he carefully researched and wrote the event of the birth of Jesus Christ. Although he didn’t record the date of our Messiah’s birth, Dr. Luke was selected to add his book as the part in God’s inspiring words. If we combine his two books, Luke and Acts, Luke wrote a large portion of the New Testament.

Many of us may have learned that Matthew 1-2 and Luke 1-2 are the Christmas story over many years. Although we may have been learned some history facts of Christmas (I was blinded and guilty of this until God opened my spiritual eyes), the word has no meaning of Jesus Christ’s birth. Most today’s historian scholars and preachers may tell us that Christmas does relate to Christ’s birth, but the Bible has no mention its word, Christmas. Why?

1) If we read Luke’s account of Jesus’ birth, we see clearly that the angels’ announcement to shepherds was not during the winter season, but possibly during the spring.

2) The most pagan holidays occurred in the last quarter of the year (October to December).

3) There was no celebration of Christmas during the days of Apostles. One of Catholic Popes gave holiday a name officially as Christmas—that was after first couple centuries since Jesus ascended into Heaven.

4) Jesus celebrated His birthday [physically] only once, that was after Mary birth Him and had several people came over to see the Baby Jesus. After the birth of Jesus, there is no mention of His other 33 birthdays in all four Gospels.
These and more facts may be hidden from our school textbooks, but it can be proven by according to the Word of God. We must seek God to open our spiritual eyes to see the truth. Paul says in II Timothy 3:16-17, “All scripture is given by inspiration of God, and is profitable for doctrine, for reproof, for correction, for instruction in righteousness: That the man of God may be perfect, throughly furnished unto all good works.”

As we come to Christmas season, it is the good opportunity for us to share the love and gospel messages of Jesus Christ. As the world says that this holiday season is all about us, it is the time for us to shout out the name of Jesus Christ to the world. Are you ready for Christmas season while some of things may try to block your ways to celebrate Jesus’ birth, life, ministry, death, and resurrection everyday? Set a time each day for yourself with God to celebrate what He has done for you and your family.

Let’s Make Joyful Thanksgiving Noise
Topic: Thanksgiving
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. (Psalm 95:2 KJV)

What is your meaning of Thanksgiving Day? Every once a year, we celebrate Thanksgiving Day with our family members and friends around the dinner table. On the dinner table, we have a lot of goodies to eat what God has given to us. We also have time for sharing what we thank for.

If that is your way to celebrate Thanksgiving Day, then you would miss the whole lots of other things. Psalm 95:2 tells us that there is a joyful noise as we go to in the presence of the Lord with open our heats to give Him thanks. Thanksgiving was not about having a big piece of turkey in our stomachs. Or it’s just not about family comes gather together to spend their time each other to chat. We, as American Christians, might have missed the point. Although there might be pagan meaning of Thanksgiving Day, we should remember that we should need to thank God in the first place of our hearts and minds. He created us and the world where we can dwell on the land that God gave us. Although God doesn’t need anything from us, He deserved for us to give Him praise and bring glory to Him.

Why not to stop what we are doing and begin to thank God what He has done to you. He is worthy of praise.

GIVE THANKS
WITH A GRATEFUL HEART
GIVE THANKS
TO THE HOLY ONE
GIVE THANKS
FOR HE'S GIVEN
JESUS CHRIST, HIS SON
(X2)

AND NOW LET THE WEAK SAY
I AM STRONG
LET THE POOR SAY
I AM RICH
BECAUSE OF WHAT
THE LORD HAS DONE
FOR US
(X2)
GIVE THANKS...

The Millennial Reign with Jesus Christ
Topic: End of the Age

And I saw thrones, and they sat upon them, and judgment was given unto them: and I saw the souls of them that were beheaded for the witness of Jesus, and for the word of God, and which had not worshipped the beast, neither his image, neither had received his mark upon their foreheads, or in their hands; and they lived and reigned with Christ a thousand years. (Revelation 20:4 KJV)

Have you thought about what if we have dominion over the earth with Jesus Christ for a thousand year? Think about there would be no more democratic party and republic party to decide which road we should go. Right now what the American need is strong Godly leaders to lead the nation.

This pass week I heard that there are some states who decide to keep the gay marriage, lesbian, and homosexual’s rights. If we allow these activities as constitutional laws, we would say is that we don’t need God in our nation anymore; instead we are gods and allow the Antichrist enter to rule our country.

Apostle John tells us in the Book of Revelation that those who are believers and didn’t receive the Mark of Beast will be reigned with Jesus Christ for 1000 years. Reign with Jesus Christ on the earth for a thousand years may seem to be exciting to us. But this is only for those who are believers in God through Jesus Christ.

After the thousand years are expired, Satan will release from the prison for a limited time and try to deceive the nations to fight against God (Revelation 20:7-9). And then God will cast Satan back into Hell (Revelation
20:10). After all that, God will judge the people according to how they lived on the earth while the gift of salvation had been available to all men. If their names are not written in the book of life, God will cast them into the lake of fire rather than to Heaven. There is no third way to Heaven, except through relationship with Jesus Christ.

The Bible says when we enter Heaven, God will wipe all of our tears and there will be no more pain, even there will be no person who is in a wheelchair. God will give us the new glorifying body—even He will heal a cripple person into the perfect body.

Are you ready to reign with our Lord Jesus when He returns again to possess all things that He created? If you are not sure about your eternal home, you just ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life. God doesn’t want you to be lost eternality.

New World Order Formation
Topic: End of the Age

And he exerciseth all the power of the first beast before him, and causeth the earth and them which dwell therein to worship the first beast, whose deadly wound was healed. (Revelation
13:12 KJV)

After the September 11, 2001 tragedy, about 34,000 Americans have decided to convert to Islam (http://islamicweb.com/begin/statistics.htm). Why Islam? Most people may have learned that Islam means “peace,” but it actually means surrender ourselves to them or decide to suffer the consequence through death penalty. This is exactly what Satan wants to be done through Islam and other religions.

As we began to see the birth of World War III, beginning in Middle East, we also begin to hear about the invention of small microchip that goes through human’s skin, how our nation began to make constitution law on gay marriage, homosexuality activity on TV program and educational program. If we decide to make these as constitution law, we would be no better than people in Sodom and Gomorrah. They did really unconstitutional actions against God and His people in the days of Abraham. As a result, God destroyed their cities that anyone cannot relocate these ancient cities.

So what is the New World Order (NWO) System and when it has been begun? Is this good or bad thing?

The NWO is the Satan’s method to bring every people to himself—trying to help them to understand that he is the only god. He also uses different kind of methods to collect people to himself, such as One World Government, One World Religion, and One World Economy systems. He tries to make people comfortable as possible before he would send them to Hell.

God has His system, too. But His system will not like Satan’s final decision. Although Satan will make Covent with Israel for seven years and destroy it in the midst of his contract, God has been kept His Covent with His people since the birth of nation and will keep it forever.

The New World Order System has been existed before we were born. It is not new to the world. Satan tried to blind people as he tried to progress his future plan. We may hear the New World Order plan from our presidents’ public speech, but some people may misunderstand this new world system.

We may believe that if we come with one world currency, we all can be friends to the other nations and have peace. With this mindset, we may decide to turn away from God and focus on the one world leader—Antichrist. Which leader are you going to serve and worship? If we decide to take the Mark of Beast on forehead or right hand, we will be no longer part of God’s children. We will be enemies of God and stuck ourselves in Hell forever. If it is time for Antichrist call you to take the Mark of Beast or let him to kill you for the sake of Jesus Christ, you also take your stand for your eternal destiny.

Will you be ready if you face the Antichrist and his offer? If you are not sure that you are one of God’s children, you just ask Him to forgive your sins and come into your life. If God take you to Heaven before Antichrist’s offer, you would be in a safe place. But if you don’t, you will still be in God’s hands if you refuse to take the Mark of Beast and let Antichrist murder you.

False Prophets and Teachings (Part Two)
Topic: End of the Age

Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth. (I Timothy 4:1-3 KJV)

Jesus warned us that there will be many false teachers and prophets who will wear sheep clothes. As we are seeing what is going on the world today, especially in the United States of America, most popular churches are making millions of dollars by broadcasting their church services through Satellite TV and radio. Even some of small churches are getting impact with hundreds of people each week. Why? Many people hear the messages about what they want to hear and what they want to celebrate in the church (such as Christmas, Easter, Ash Wednesday).

As a result, many professing Christians are turning their faiths to doctrines of Satan. Satan has been succeeded to deceive people from God over many years through the pagan holidays—Easter, Halloween, and Christmas. If we study our Christian church forefathers in the second through fourth century, these holidays arrived from the paganism tradition by Roman Catholic Church. Even many today’s popular preachers are trying to teach us with using the same method of teachings as our Christian church forefathers did.

Paul warned us this deception will come to our generation. I had been in deception situation before and it was really hurt by one of Fredericksburg churches, which I worked for. Director of the church almost destroyed my life as well as other people’s life.

Satan wants to destroy us (ff. John 10:10a), to pull us away from our Eternal Father. He will do whatever necessary to succeed his goal, even using preachers. But we have tools to guard against the itching ear messages. We have the Bible, which it explains what’s going on the world today and we have chance to prepare to battle against the darkness. We also have the free access to God through His Son, Jesus Christ, who is wiling to help us in the midst of the battleground. If we have Jesus Christ in our lives, Satan cannot defeat us. His angels are going to loose this battle, because we have the Truth and Revelation from Jesus Christ.

False Prophets & Teachings (Part One)
Topic: End of the Age

For there shall arise false Christs, and false prophets, and shall shew great signs and wonders; insomuch that, if it were possible, they shall deceive the very elect. (Matthew 24:24 KJV)

Before Jesus faced His death penalty by Roman soldiers, He warned His disciples that there will be many false Christs and prophets, who will show many wonders and miracles to the people. This prophecy is becoming reality today, especially within the churches. Some churches may tell us the truth of the gospel and some may not.

Even in Christian media, such as TBN, many Christians may deceive themselves by listening to the TV evangelists on what they want to hear. Sadly, most of them may have ended their lives as rich and miserable. As I watched some programs in TBN, most preachers usually talk about moral Christian living standard, such as gaining financial success and blessings; or some preachers may talk about the coming of Jesus Christ to their camp meeting physically.

Benny Hinn claims: Jesus appeared to a whole crowd in Africa!

Again Benny repeats that Jesus will physically appear at his crusades on the "This is your day" program dated May 2nd, 2000. (Real Video, see six minutes into the program - programs are recorded 3 weeks in advance, so this program was recorded before the Nairobi Crusade.) Here is a transcript of the relevant portion:

And I know, that I know, that I know, we are about to see the greatest manifestations of God's presence ever! A prophetess named Ruth Heflin sent me a word recently and told me to get ready, to see, physical manifestations of Christ on the platforms in our crusades, that people will have visions of the Lord in the meetings. Those things have happened in the past, I know. In a Thialagua (spelling?) meeting one time in Africa, the Lord appeared to a - to the whole crowd! It is about to begin happening, I know it too! Expect it, to happen also, in your own home!" (Benny Hinn, May 2nd, 2000)

So how do we know if televangelists tell us the truth of what God wrote? Even though there are many preachers who proclaim to be the Christ’s teaching, we must check with God to see if their teachings match with His Word.

As false prophets began to appear within Christian churches to prepare to make a path to Antichrist, we must realize that it’s almost for us to meet with Jesus Christ. Are you ready to see Jesus Christ and can able to recognize His Second Coming? If not, make sure to get chance to know Him before it would be too late.

Caught Up with Jesus Christ
Topic: End of the Age
For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. (I Thessalonians 4:14 KJV)
Have you wondered what it would be like if we meet Jesus Christ as the progress of World War III would take its place? Before I’d go further, let’s read I Thessalonians 4:14-17:

For if we believe that Jesus died and rose again, even so them also which sleep in Jesus will God bring with him. For this we say unto you by the word of the Lord, that we which are alive and remain unto the coming of the Lord shall not prevent them which are asleep. For the Lord himself shall descend from heaven with a shout, with the voice of the archangel, and with the trump of God: and the dead in Christ shall rise first: Then we which are alive and remain shall be caught up together with them in the clouds, to meet the Lord in the air: and so shall we ever be with the Lord.

Matthew 27:52-53 is the only Scripture that shows the people rose up from their graves as soon as Jesus died on the Cross and occurred an earthquake. Why? Even though the rapture hadn’t taken a place yet, this brief resurrection of the dead people show us that He is the God who can raise people into life. John 14 said that Jesus will come again to take us to His kingdom.

I believe that God gave Paul a vision on the rapture of the Church on the last day of the earth. Even it was not His time during Paul’s life, God wanted Paul to write his vision down, so that we can understand and be ready for His returning.

Paul began by explaining to us if we believe that God raised Jesus from the dead, He can raise people from the grave to meet with Him face to face. Remember Jesus raised Lazarus from the dead, after four days, and met each other (John 11). If we remain alive, we will be caught up with Him and people from the graves in the clouds.

Many preachers said that Jesus would return and rapture the Church on either before, during, or after the Seven-Year of Tribulation. Even though the Bible doesn’t clear about when He would take the Church out from the earth, God gave us a sign when this would be taken place: at the sound of trumpet from the Heaven. When God would blow the trumpet, we must know that it is time for us to be united with the King at the clouds and live with Him forever.

The only question is: are we ready for the celebration of His returning and have a wedding ceremony with Him? If you are not sure about His invitation, you can check with God if you are on the reservation list. If you like to be on the list and be a part of the family of God, you can invite Him to come into your life. You just give your life to Him by asking forgiveness for all the sins that you committed and invite Him to the center of your life and let Him show you the light of your life.
