Weapon of the Word
Topic: Word of God
It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God. (Matthew 4:4 KJV)
Using a word can be powerful that it can bring somebody to life or destruction. As we read in Matthew 4:1-11, Jesus used the Scriptures every time Satan tempted Him. Jesus said we should not live by food alone, but with the Word of God. This is why the Bible is important to us. Not only it gives us the hope and faith in God, it also helps us to guard ourselves from the scheme of the devils. If you do not believe the existence of Satan and demons, you would be spiritually blinded or become spiritually disability.
This is why Hebrews 4:12 says, “For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart.” Even though God’s Words can help us to build our personal with Jesus Christ, they can separate us from the darkness or secular world. Do you have your personal relationship with Jesus Christ? If not, I would like to encourage you to know Jesus Christ today.
Do you know why our nation so mess right now? We closed the Words of God in our lives. As I said in the previous message, many of us like to watch some preachers on the television as the fast food restaurants. We have become lazy to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to other people around us. If we’d want to lose some spiritual fatness, we need to put God’s Words in our spiritual diet. Paul said in I Timothy 4:8, “For bodily exercise profiteth little: but godliness is profitable unto all things, having promise of the life that now is, and of that which is to come.” We cannot go to the war and fight for our nation until we would go through some training.
God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God. If you’d need further assistance, you can email me at mgjcwebminstries@mgjcweb.org or visit my ministries website at www.mgjcweb.org for further resources.

The Word: In the Beginning
Topic: Word of God
In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. The same was in the beginning with God. All things were made by him; and without him was not any thing made that was made. (John 1:1-3 KJV)
When you think about certain words come to your mind, what are you thinking? The words have the power to give us life or death. In this message series, we will first look up Genesis 1 and answer how God created the earth within seven days.
As we read John 1:1-3, the Word was existed since the beginning of the time. We don’t know how the Word was created as how God was existed. We can’t answer the existence of God. Even though some scientists may believe in Big Bang Theory, we have the Word of God that said the earth was created by God’s Spoken Words. As we read in Genesis 1, all God’s creation was created by His spoken words. We don’t need make this more complication. We don’t need evolution theory to approve that the human came from the ape, because there is no approve to it.
John 1:1-3 also tells us that Jesus Christ, the second Person of the Trinity, was in the part of the creation. Apostle Paul said in Colossians 1:15-17, “Who is the image of the invisible God, the firstborn of every creature: For by him were all things created, that are in heaven, and that are in earth, visible and invisible, whether they be thrones, or dominions, or principalities, or powers: all things were created by him, and for him: And he is before all things, and by him all things consist.” Who is He? Jesus Christ! He was with God and the Holy Spirit in Genesis 1. Even though His name didn’t appear in the Old Testament, it doesn’t mean that the Bible has two gods. Don’t be confused to that.
God’s words are powerful. They give us life rather than death. They give us eternal security that Christ can come to live in each of us if we’d let Him. The Bible is not a religious book that fills with rules and regulations. It contains God’s breathing spoken words that give us life, love, and encourage to go through another day. It is a Basic Information Before Leaving the Earth.
Do you know why some of us tired to read the Bible? We are too busy with the world that we don’t have anytime with God. It is ashamed for us to put our agendas as priority before God. No wonder some of us suck into watching some preachers on TBN, CBN, DAYSTAR as fast spiritual food restaurants.
Do you like to change your lifestyle and live with eternal purpose? You don’t need to do petty party anymore, because God knows your needs and He wants to give it to you if you’d let Him.
The Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Covet
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s house, thou shalt not covet thy neighbour’s wife, nor his manservant, nor his maidservant, nor his ox, nor his ass, nor any thing that is thy neighbour’s. (Exodus 20:17 KJV)
Even though Paul said we can covet earnestly the best gifts (I Corinthians 12:31), we should not desire anything that is not belong to us. It is sad that we see the people rushed into stores to get gifts for their children before anybody grabbed the toys during the Black Friday. It is good enough to buy gifts for my family after the Black Friday and Cyber Monday would end and before the week of rushed holiday shopping week.
The word “covet” has both positive and negative effects. First meaning of its word is “to desire earnestly or pursue.” Remember when God asked Solomon what he’d like to have in his life. Solomon could ask God for anything like genie of the lamp. But he didn’t. Instead, he asked God for wisdom, so he can rule the kingdom right way, not for himself, but for God. God established the land of Israel, starting with Abraham. Even today, the land is belonging to God. He started plowing His seeds in that land. Nobody, even President Obama, can give the land of Israel to Palestine or ungodly nation. Genesis 12:3 said, “And I [God] will bless them that bless thee, and curse him that curseth thee: and in thee shall all families of the earth be blessed.”
Second part of its definition is “to be heated or to boil with envy, hatred, anger.” This has to go with Exodus 20:17. Some people would get jealous easy when the other person would have better things. Especially, children can’t get control him/herself when he/she would see better toys with other students. We need to control ourselves when we’d see better things. It is not good for us to do childish thing.
We need to covet things earnestly—not only for ourselves, but for God’s kingdom. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.” Are you coveting things earnestly? Lear from what King Solomon did before he went down to the drain.

The Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Bear False Witness
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour. (Exodus 20:16 KJV)
As we are getting ready to close this series on the Ten Commandment, the last two are focused on our relationship with neighbors or someone close to us that is outside our families. Our focus today is on the ninth commandment: Thou shalt not bear false witness against thy neighbour.
For me, I don’t like to watch court TV programs. The reason: There are too many disagreements between the two oppositions and the judge. They are not telling the truth. Instead, they tell some fables to the judge and the judge would decide who’s telling the truth.
We can see this act from anywhere, even in the church. Let’s read what Paul said to Timothy (I Timothy 4:1-3), “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” We see that some preachers teach the gospel that is out of context in the Holy Bible. For example, Peter Popoff is selling the holy water or holy prayer cloth for certain amount. If the water is holy, where did he get it from and why he is selling to us? This and more pastors don’t teach the truth; instead, they are seeking for money.
We are supposed to be witnesses to draw people into God and not for our needs. The goal of this ministry is this: And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations… (Matthew 24:14). I don’t need your money to share the truth of God. It is ashamed for ministers to use the merchandise and fable methods to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus said in Matthew 5:16, “Let your light so shine before men, that they may see your good works, and glorify your Father which is in heaven.”
Is your light on for you to share the Gospel of Jesus Christ to people, who haven’t heard the gospel? Are you a true witness for Jesus Christ or just pretending for you could have some money? Choice is yours.

How to Become Family of God?
Topic: Gospel
Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved. (Acts 4:12 KJV)
I’d like to discuss with you on becoming family of God. I believe that the churches have lost the basic teaching of the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Instead, many preachers may teach more on how to become a wealthy Christian or how to get stuffs from God. That is what we called robber or thief. Malachi 3:8-9 says, “Will a man rob God? Yet ye have robbed me. But ye say, Wherein have we robbed thee? In tithes and offerings. Ye are cursed with a curse: for ye have robbed me, even this whole nation.”
I know that the Roman Catholic Church has some religious rituals or several steps to become a member of the church. Some of you may know that I use Romans 10:9-10 as invitation to join the family of God. It says, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” You don’t need to go through priest to confess your sin to God or pray to the Virgin Mother Mary. These are useless. I Timothy 2:5-6 says, “For there is one God, and one mediator between God and men, the man Christ Jesus; Who gave himself a ransom for all, to be testified in due time.” Jesus did not come to the earth and just die for our sins, but to establish His relationship with each of us. There is different to join the church and to join the family of God. To join the church means that you stay for the service to receive for the week. But to join the family of God means that you are establishing relationship with other believers in the church and outside the church throughout the week.
We have created so many denominational churches that bring divisions within the house of God. Paul said in I Corinthians 14:33, “For God is not the author of confusion, but of peace, as in all churches of the saints.” Some of you may disagree with me and that’s okay, but you may need to double check with the Scriptures. God’s words cannot be voided or changeable.
Some of you may against me, because you may don’t hear this kind of message in today’s churches. America churches have changed so much that we don’t know who’s telling the truth of God. After the death of John Osteen at Lakewood Church, I stopped watching his son’s program, because of smooth or itchy words that the most people would like to hear rather than the truth of God. Even though we’d need inspiration words like Joel Osteen, we also need the message on conviction of sins like Rev. John Osteen, so we may not be sinned against God.
Our nation needs repentance from the sins against God before it would become too late to enter the kingdom of God. We are the church of God and each of us is accountable of what we have done on Earth with the free gift of salvation. I don’t care if you have disability or not, young or old, but what are you doing with the gift of salvation? You could waste your gift or spread around to the people and community.
If you are not sure about becoming family of God, I’d like you to evaluate yourself about the good things you have done and what God could do for you? Hebrews 11:40 says, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.”
Tears of Rain for America
Topic: New Year
Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (James 5:16-18 KJV)
What is your expectation for 2014? As we’d look forward to the New Year, I’d like to share some insights about why this nation needs tears of rain for 2014. Even though there are many preachers may preach on the end time prophecy, we’d need to understand fundamentally about why God judges His people first. It is sad to see that we do not hear on the message of gospel any more. Instead, most sermons that we from the pulpit hear is all about us.
No wonder why our nation is going deep into the Day of Sodom and Gomorrah. We hardly to find churches that teach from the King James Version of the Bible anymore. Nowadays, most churches use the modern day of the Bible versions, such as NKJV, NIV, MSG, NCV, NLT, and many other versions. These Bible versions may not come from the original Hebrew and Greek manuscript and may contain errors; mostly they don’t put emphasis heavily on sin, hell, Satan, and judgment of God. Yes, God is a loving and caring Father, but He is an ultimate Judge and He doesn’t tolerate our sinful acts go unpunished.
We cannot lead the nation without the right teaching of God. We are called to be priests. I’m not just talking about we need to take church leadership positions, but as representatives of God, we have responsible to share the love and messages of Jesus Christ to other people. Apostle Peter said in I Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…”
Our nation needs spiritual rain and we cannot have the rain until we’d reunite with Him. We don’t know where God would take us in 2014, but that doesn’t mean we can relax and do nothing. We have work to do that God assigned to us (see Matthew 28:18-20). We can share the love and messages of God while we are in home, work, and other places we go.
As we walk into 2014, let’s pray and fasting for this nation would reunite with God. Even though our political leaders may not know what they are doing for America, we are responsible to lead them into the right direction. We need to be like weeping prophets as Jeremiah. We need to cry out for God’s direction, not ours.
Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Steal
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not steal. (Exodus 20:15 KJV)
Even though this week is a celebration of the birth of Jesus Christ, I’d like to do differently. Most of us may hear the sermon of the first Christmas during this time of the year, even though we can’t approve that there was ones during the early church era. But this is a time for us to share the love and message of God to others. Jesus didn’t just come to the earth to die for our sins, but to establish His relationship with each of us. He is the Emmanuel (Matthew 1:23)—God with us. “…his name shall be called Wonderful, Counsellor, The mighty God, The everlasting Father, The Prince of Peace (Isaiah 9:6).” Even though the world is going to the wrong direction, God is waiting for us to show the right way to live life. We can count on God to show us the path of life.
We mostly listen to the news that man steals some stuff that is not his. I don’t care who does this evil act, it is an act of sin against his people and God. John 10:10 declares, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy…” We see this in American churches today—small or large churches. Most televangelists are advertising their products for 5-10 minutes to seek for money. This is no good. The ten percent of your money should go to your local church and if you’d like to donate your money to the charity, go ahead, but your money don’t need to go to the TV/radio ministries.
Most today’s preachers twisted the truth of tithing. They may tell us that if we’d give $1,000 to their ministries, God will give us double of that amount. This is the lie that comes from the hell. Even though God can bless us with money, He can bless us more than money according to His will—not ours. We can’t take anything on Earth when we’d go to Heaven, because God will provide us everything we lost on the earth. Our homes are not in this earth, because we are just passing by until Jesus Christ would return and take us home.
We don’t need to steal anything from our people, because God will supply all of our needs according to His riches in glory by Christ Jesus (Philippians 4:19). If we’d need to get well from cold, we don’t need to go to doctors and get medicines. Instead, we’d need to ask God to heal our sickness. Use our doctors as the last resort, not primary.
What do you need from God? God just can’t give it to you. You’d need to establish relationship with Him. I’m not talking about joining religion, but establishing relationship with the Heavenly Father. You could do the Rosary Prayer to the Virgin Mother Mary, but she was just a person who received God’s favor and did not receive the divine power as the mother of God. You could pray to Allah, but he can’t hear you because the word “Allah” is a Hebrew word for curse. But Jesus can answer all of your needs, because He proved Himself that His relationship with us has no match with any of these gods and demonic power.
Now Playing: Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Commit Adultery
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not commit adultery. (Exodus 20:14 KJV)
One of most trends today is legalizing adultery. We continue to see that this Christian nation is turning to the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. Most today’s news report fills with legalizing the same-sex marriage. Our president is not doing anything about this situation in our Christian nation. Our education and court systems are favored for the homosexual marriage.
What does God say about adultery? Let’s look into the biblical aspect of adultery. In Encarta Dictionary, the word adultery means “voluntary sexual relations between a married person and somebody other than his/her spouse. In Greek, it refers to idolatrous worship. There are three ways for the person could draw into the world system: the lust of the flesh, the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life (I John 2:16). If the person would not satisfy himself with things that he has, he’d beg for more power, wealth, and fame. In fact, King Solomon tried all three things, but these things led him to more trouble in his life. Even his 1,000 wives led him to the idolatry, his relationship with God was dried off. It is sad for our nation to commit adultery and put our spiritual fire off for this nation.
We read in II Samuel 11 about how King David c omitted adultery and ended with God’s judgment upon his family and kingdom (II Samuel 12). Yet, he repented his sins. That is why God used him to lead to the lineage of Messiah, Jesus Christ (Matthew 1:1-17).
We have two choices: put our spiritual fire back on or off. As our nation would keep legalizing sins, we are kept walking toward to the devil’s trap. We need to have pro-family back in this nation, because this is what God wanted for us.

Count on Thanksgiving
Topic: Thanksgiving
Let us come before his presence with thanksgiving, and make a joyful noise unto him with psalms. (Psalms 95:2 KJV)
We often count the blessing that God gave us. Most of us can testify how God gave us job promotion, purchasing new houses, receiving extra money from Social Security, and so on. These things are good to share with your family, church, and co-workers. But do we thank God for all the things that He had done in our lives?
Paul said in Romans 5:8, “But God commendeth his love toward us, in that, while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us.” He didn’t need to put Jesus on the cross for your and my sins. But He did it with the price that we cannot pay Him back. I thank God that He took me out from the orphanage and brought me into the next chapter of my life and faith. Even though I have a disability and living as a single man, God has not ever failed me. There has time that I put Him in the box, but He hasn’t put me in a corner alone that I could go through the obstacle myself.
Most Americans recognize God as a genie in the magic bottle. Even though He is our Father, we need to work our relationship with Him. It is not enough for us to go to the church once a week or for Christmas or Easter. We need to connect with God daily through reading the Bible, prayer, while we are working, or whatever we are doing during the 24-hour period.
Thanksgiving reflects our relationships with God and people.

Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Kill (Pt. 1I)
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13 KJV)
Jesus said in John 10:10, “The thief cometh not, but for to steal, and to kill, and to destroy: I am come that they might have life, and that they might have it more abundantly.” Let’s examine this simple verse and put this to our generation.
As Jesus stated, He didn’t come into our lives to make us miserable, but to give abundant life. He wanted us to have life that would build relationship with Him and people. The Genesis account is all about the relationship from the creation of the world to the formation of the twelve tribes of Israel. In the books of Gospel, we read about why Jesus suffered at the cross for our sins. It was not because He is the God, but He wanted to build relationship with us. He is the Emmanuel, God with us (Matthew 1:23).
I believe that God has kept pouring the blessing upon the America over the years. However, we have misused the blessing of God and turned this nation upside down. This coming week, we let our kids to walk to their neighbors to ask for the goodies as they’d celebrate Halloween, which is the satanic high Sabbath or holy day. Halloween has become as our national holiday and to make fun for our family tradition without realizing that we are honoring the dead saints and Satan. It is one of our downfalls we practiced over the years.
As where the nation goes, we have been blessed by God to carry His messages out to all the four corners of the world. Also, we are blessed to be partnership with the people of Israel all the years. However, we are continuing to face several tragedies in our land. As I stated, we cannot bring another great spiritual awakening until we’d surrender our sins and ask God for forgiveness.
The first 16 days of this month has been turned into financial crunched time for the America. And it is continuing. Why? American has been unplugged to stay in touch with God and her people. We put God away and let our politicians take over the land. Right now, we are trying to fix the www.healthcare.gov to make everybody happy, except God. Most of us run to our medicine cabinets as the primary health source than God to get our health back.
As I mentioned on the earlier blog entry, American has been become the World Greatest Fugitive because we let our government to change laws to accept sin activities. Smoking a cigar has been acceptable all over the world, even though it would destroy our bodies permanently. Now, American is continuing to try to make homosexual marriage legal to all the 50 states. As we are continuing to progress to make sin activities legal, we are also continuing to kill our relationships with God and people.
Protecting Our Government
Topic: Nation
And God said, Let us make man in our image, after our likeness: and let them have dominion over the fish of the sea, and over the fowl of the air, and over the cattle, and over all the earth, and over every creeping thing that creepeth upon the earth. (Genesis 1:26 KJV)
Few of us may think that government shutdown mean nothing to us, since ObamaCare will get effective to all Americans. Really? First, we must understand that ObamaCare is just Act and not a law of the land. If the people would dislike this healthcare, it can repeal by the Congress. Secondly, we must understand that God started to establish the government system, not own effort. We can read Genesis 1-3 and see how the government system got all started and started to fall.
If we wouldn’t have to borrow so much of money from the other countries and use our money wisely, there should no need to be government shutdown. It is sad that we have turned this nation to the days of Sodom and Gomorrah. We have opened the door to LGBT activists and other religious leaders to change the laws of the land. Having an abortion is acceptable to our nation, even though God said that it is not acceptable. It is okay for gay/lesbian couples can get marriage, even though God forbids it.
We have turned this nation outside down for Satan to rule us. If we’d evaluate America families, both secularism and Christianity, there have been many families broken apart from each other. We often hear about their children are missing, murder, and caught by the police. How many of us think these tragedies happened because of money? Most psychologists would think so. But, sadly, that’s myth. If we’d like to have strong family and government, we must have good and solid relationship with the people whom we love and people in the community. But, mostly, we must build good and solid relationship with God. That’s the most #1 priority. If you are not Christian, please take a moment and evaluate yourself to see if you are truly happy as you are currently living.
As we read in Genesis 1:26, God gave us some responsibilities to take care His creation. Not only that, but He wanted us to enjoy living on earth. Most people would think reading the Bible means that God has many rules and regulations. Yes, but it’s more than that. He wants us to enjoy life.
Being a leader in the government should not be difficult. Instead, leaders should rely on God and their citizens to protect the land and people. I do not know if the government shutdown would lead us to World War III. But we must rely on God to lead our nation. Do not taking any political party side. This is the biggest mistake we are doing. We need to evaluate each candidate’s position with God’s standard, not ours. God has the final saying so.
Ten Commandments: Thou Shalt Not Kill (Pt. 1)
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not kill. (Exodus 20:13 KJV)
It is a simple commandment, but it’s hard for us to follow through. This one verse has no difficulty words, but many of us made this as complicated. We may believe that having abortion doesn’t relate to this simple verse, but according to God, it does. Since one act of murder that Cain committed (Genesis 4), we continue to see the progression of the murder act throughout the history, and even our generation.
Living a life is the precious gift that God ever gave to us. It is sad that some of us may choose to murder innocent unborn child. I recently read one of my friends’ Facebook post that indicated people have that right to kill the child as he/she would come out from the mother’s womb. It’s sick to hear that our nation turns as the Great Most Wanted Fugitive. Even President Obama supports the abortion right. These people, even President Obama, must answer to God when they would sit in His court.
We do not have the right to kill anybody, including the unborn child. Many Americans may believe that our nation was founded by the Words of God, but we see that many students cannot pray and read the Bible in schools, gun violence in school campuses, and more. Since I arrived to America in 1990, I couldn’t believe that our nation turns into the war zone.
Jeremiah 1:4-5 says, “Then the word of the LORD came unto me, saying, Before I formed thee in the belly I knew thee; and before thou camest forth out of the womb I sanctified thee, and I ordained thee a prophet unto the nations.”
Are you pro-life citizen? If not, please consider to become one. If you’d like to be a pro-life citizen, I’d like to encourage you to ask God for the forgiveness of your sins and invite Him into your life. Ten Commandments: Honor Thy Parents
Topic: Laws of God
Honour thy father and thy mother: that thy days may be long upon the land which the LORD thy God giveth thee. (Exodus 20:12 KJV)
Now, we have come to the second set of the Ten Commandments, which is our relationship with each other. As we see, the Ten Commandments were not made for our religious practice, but establishing relationship with God and people. In other words, God didn’t start to create religions and try to make many roads to Heaven. Oprah Winfrey, Barak Obama, and Joel Osteen created proclaimed that there are several ways to Heaven, but my Bible says that there is the one way to have eternal life, which is through Jesus Christ. Jesus said in John 11:25, “I am the resurrection, and the life: he that believeth in me, though he were dead, yet shall he live…” Allah, Buddha, Virgin Mary, or any wooden images of gods don’t guarantee us to have eternal life, except Jesus Christ.
God established for us to have family. We read how God constituted for Adam to have family in Genesis 2:24. Begin in Genes 4, we read about the first family and how this family turned into tragedy situation. It is not clear stated why Cain killed his young brother and how his relationship with Adam and Eve was. But he complained lot. He said to God, “I know not: Am I my brother’s keeper?”
How is your relationship with family? Even though Exodus 20:12 dedicates to honoring parents, it is also related to whole family. We cannot live in this world without establishing relationship with our family.
Paul said in Ephesians 6:1-3, “Children, obey your parents in the Lord: for this is right. Honour thy father and mother; (which is the first commandment with promise;) That it may be well with thee, and thou mayest live long on the earth.” We need guidance from our parents for us to live life. Respecting and obeying our parents is the key to have successful life. Even God shorten our earthly time, we would need to continue to build relationship with God, family, and people around us.

Ten Commandments: Sabbath Day (Part II)
Topic: Laws of God
And, behold, there was a man which had his hand withered. And they asked him, saying, Is it lawful to heal on the sabbath days? that they might accuse him. And he said unto them, What man shall there be among you, that shall have one sheep, and if it fall into a pit on the sabbath day, will he not lay hold on it, and lift it out? How much then is a man better than a sheep? Wherefore it is lawful to do well on the sabbath days. (Matthew 12:10-12 KJV)
As the days of Pharisees, we sometime mixed up God’s laws with our moral laws. Even though God said that we’d need to be rested on the seventh day, we’d decide to work more hours and make busy to ourselves. Don’t be misunderstood that some of the services need to be available 24/7, such as hospital, grocery stores, gas stations, fire departments, and etc. And some stores could close on the seventh day, such as Wal-mart, restaurants, and etc. Unfortunately, our nation becomes money-maker nation, we may forget how we’d need to rest and refresh our spirits, souls, and bodies.
We often see many people go to the yoga session, Eastern Mysticism religious practice, to try to regenerate their bodies. Without thinking what they are doing, this practice teaches them to reinforce the energy upon themselves. No God. If your church would have yoga session, then your spirit would be risked your relation with God. Yes, there should be relaxing exercise activities for our spirits, souls, and bodies, but it should have limited. We should really need to focus on God and His words. Why not turn on praise and worship music for us to do exercise. Read and meditate on God’s Words. Work for God and not just for our needs.
We have limited ourselves to worn our bodies. Do you know why Pharisees saw surprise that Jesus was working on Sabbath Day (Matthew 12:2)? They worried that He’d be breaking their laws. Sabbatical law didn’t come from any man. God created the sabbatical law for us to have quality time with Him and people around us. Jesus didn’t break the sabbatical law, but He fulfilled it.
The Ten Commandments are not religious laws, but to build our relationship with God and people. This is why Jesus said that we need to love God and other people. It sums up all the laws in the Bible.

Ten Commandments: Sabbath Day (Part I)
Topic: Laws of God
Remember the sabbath day, to keep it holy. Six days shalt thou labour, and do all thy work: But the seventh day is the sabbath of the LORD thy God: in it thou shalt not do any work, thou, nor thy son, nor thy daughter, thy manservant, nor thy maidservant, nor thy cattle, nor thy stranger that is within thy gates: For in six days the LORD made heaven and earth, the sea, and all that in them is, and rested the seventh day: wherefore the LORD blessed the sabbath day, and hallowed it. (Exodus 20:8-11 KJV)
I believe the most law that Americans are neglecting today is the Sabbath Day, the day we’d need to give honor to God by resting upon Him. This day of the week should be designated for us to have quality with Him rather than busy ourselves to death. No wonder most of us have some kinds of sicknesses in our bodies. Jesus said in Matthew 6:34, “Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof.” Being worrying would bring us to problem in physically, mentally, emotionally, and spiritually.
God created Sabbath Day for us to rest upon Him. He didn’t create us to be His slaves. No! He wants to establish imitate relationship with each of us. We are His and are not belonged to the world. There are many people who think that living in this world is the only hope for them to have long and happy life. Yes, that was true before Adam and Eve felt into sins. Unfortunately, that’s not in case for now until God would restore this world to original estate.
We are living in today’s society without having at least one full day to rest ourselves from our busy schedules. It’s not good health habit. We are the temple of God (1 Corinthians 3:16) and we need to take care our bodies. I’m not going into piercing or tattooing our body theologies today.
We need to understand that our bodies have limit to live in this world. God doesn’t want to see that our bodies would be wasted. After this earthly life, our physical bodies would return to sand, but our spiritual bodies would end up either in Heaven or Hell forever.
Are you resting upon Lord Jesus Christ? Sabbath is not just on Saturday or Sunday. It can be any on any day of the week. But we need to have some quality times with him every day.
Ten Commandments: Honoring God (Pt. 4)
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (Exodus 20:7 KJV)
How many of us use God’s name as curse word or excuse word? If you haven’t use His name as curse word, then you may try to hide yourself from God and people who you love. Of course, we are all guilty to use God’s name in vain. There is no one who haven’t use His name in wrong term.
Nowadays, we see some pastors use God’s name in wrong way. God doesn’t excuse anyone, especially church leaders, to use His name as blasphemy. We are representatives for God and not for the world. I know there are many people use God’s name as curse. In fact, there are books and movies contain blasphemy, such as Henry Potter, Chronicle of Narnia, Speed, Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, Jurassic Park, and many more.
If we’d think we are not hurting anyone to use God’s name in vain, we are actually hurting God. It’s easy to misuse God’s name if we are not think carefully before we’d spill out of our mouths. We also would need to honor God by not using His name in vain or as blasphemy.

Ten Commandments: Honoring God (Pt. 3)
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness of any thing that is in heaven above, or that is in the earth beneath, or that is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. (Exodus 20:4-6 KJV)
Many world religions have created themselves images of their gods. Hinduism, for example, has many gods that are made from the humans’ hands. Since God commanded us not to make any grave images, there has been ignorance and turn ourselves away from God. Even though many Americans believe that we don’t have any wooden idols, we display many historical person and event statues in our communities as monuments. For example, our national capitol has many statues that symbolize where we came from. But these statues also represent something else that are related to who we associate with.
We have become too friendly with other religions; we turned this nation to religious society. The Ten Commandments are no longer appeared in our Supreme Court or any other court system. Every state capitol has some statues that represent historical persons, events, and places, but not about God and Judeo-Christianity. People have destroyed the second commandments that we could make movies about Jesus that come from their imagination. They can make someone to play as Jesus from their own culture, not from His own culture. Jesus, who has color of black skin, white, brown, or anything that represent their culture or nationality.
Even though Jesus came to the earth for everybody in the world, He died and resurrected for those who believe in Him and accept His free gift of salvation. But we just cannot make the second commandment as exception for us to create the person of Jesus. If the person who likes to create movie about Jesus’ life, ministry, death, and resurrection, he’d need to dig into the Scriptures and places.
God is a jealous God. We cannot duplicate Him. Israelites tried to make duplicate of Him when they were waiting from Moses at Mount Sinai, but they created themselves god and worshipped their own creation (Exodus 32). It is too bad enough for us to limit our quality times with God. But when we’d love other things than God, we are creating images of idols in our minds. I John 2:15-17 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world. And the world passeth away, and the lust thereof: but he that doeth the will of God abideth for ever.”

Ten Commandments: Honoring God (Pt. 2)
Topic: Laws of God
Thou shalt have no other gods before me. (Exodus 20:3 KJV)
Many of us may have broken the first commandment that God gave it to Moses. I am guilty of it. Even though we may not have the idol image in our homes, we may put other things before God, such as entertainment, work, family, and friends. It is easy to make ourselves busy with these; yet, we may forget put God first in our lives.
If you’d evaluate your daily living activities, where would God fit in your schedule? Most Americans said that they believe in God, God is not in the part of their lives. I recently read an article on how atheists advocated to remove the Ten Commandments from the monument. We, Christians, need to step up and speak the truth of God. It’s just not enough for us to attend Sunday church services to energize ourselves for the week. Currently, we open the door for the homosexual could have the same sex marriage or marriage with animals. We can see these on the TV.
Once the churches would approve to join with the other religious affiliations, we are putting God in a box and doing our own things. Now, we see that Roman Catholicism is the part of Christianity. We see that the most evangelists, such as Dr. Jack Van Impe, use the Catholic doctrines to backup the biblical and current events. If you’d study the Roman Catholicism, it was originated from the pagan religion and saw how the Pope tried to emerge with the Christianity through celebration of Easter Sunday, Christmas, and Halloween. So, we currently see how some churches are trying to make friend with Islam and called themselves as Chrislam.
God is a jealous God (Exodus 20:5) and we should not have other gods before Him. Jesus said in Luke 16:13, “No servant can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.” The word “mammon” represents the worldly possessions or treasure. We cannot have in both ways. Either we put God first in our lives or the worldly possession. Joshua 24:15 clearly says, “And if it seem evil unto you to serve the LORD, choose you this day whom ye will serve; whether the gods which your fathers served that were on the other side of the flood, or the gods of the Amorites, in whose land ye dwell: but as for me and my house, we will serve the LORD.”
Many churches are trying to lighten the message of God to make everybody worship God in any way they want. They don’t want to respect God. They can bring their laptop or i-pod during the service to do their work. I see this actually happened in the one of churches in my area. It’s sad enough for us to see that pastors use the e-Bible at the pulpit to preach the Gospel rather than using the actual Bible.
We’d need to be reunited with God if we want this nation as it was. We don’t need to make any more denominational churches to worship God. Nope. Instead, we’d need to be oneness with each other to worship Him.
Choose whom you want to worship.
Do you want transform your life to spend eternality with Jesus Christ? God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? Ten Commandments: Honoring God (Pt. 1)
Topic: Laws of God
And God spake all these words, saying, I
am the LORD thy
God, which have brought thee out of the land of Egypt, out of the house of bondage. Thou shalt have no other gods before me. Thou shalt not make unto thee any graven image, or any likeness
of any thing that
is in heaven above, or that
is in the earth beneath, or that
is in the water under the earth: Thou shalt not bow down thyself to them, nor serve them: for I the LORD thy God
am a jealous God, visiting the iniquity of the fathers upon the children unto the third and fourth
generation of them that hate me; And shewing mercy unto thousands of them that love me, and keep my commandments. Thou shalt not take the name of the LORD thy God in vain; for the LORD will not hold him guiltless that taketh his name in vain. (Exodus: 20:1-7 KJV)
I believed that America is so corrupted by sins that the nation has lost to stay in touch with God. Our Supreme Court threw away the Ten Commandments and replaced with our immoral laws. We need to go back to the basics to restore what this nation has lost over the decades. I hate to mention that our nation is waiting for the wrath of God.
As we read the first three commandments in Exodus 20, we are to honor God. We shall have no other gods before Him. This first commandment is critical for us to follow and is connected with other two commandments. Unfortunately, we rejected the first commandment that God gave to Moses. Nowadays, we may worship our material possession and entertain to ourselves. We become slaves to this world that we would think we are gods. That’s what TBN teaching.
We are not gods of this world. We were made from the image of God (Genesis 1:26). People tried to be like gods, but they failed miserably (Genesis 11). This is why God confused the language throughout the world. There is no scientific explanation for this. We see the picture of unfinished Babylonian tower on the back of the U.S. $1 bill, which it indicated that our nation is connected to the pagan religion.
We are to honor God. We cannot bring our nation back to God until we would start to call upon God (Jeremiah 33:3). Since Jesus died for our sins, we are to carry His cross daily and reach other people by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ.
We need to restore the laws of God into our Supreme Court.
Do you want transform your life to spend eternality with Jesus Christ? God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? Take Jericho Wall Down
Topic: Discipline
Now Jericho was straitly shut up because of the children of Israel: none went out, and none came in. And the LORD said unto Joshua, See, I have given into thine hand Jericho, and the king thereof, and the mighty men of valour. And ye shall compass the city, all ye men of war, and go round about the city once. Thus shalt thou do six days. And seven priests shall bear before the ark seven trumpets of rams’ horns: and the seventh day ye shall compass the city seven times, and the priests shall blow with the trumpets. And it shall come to pass, that when they make a long blast with the ram’s horn, and when ye hear the sound of the trumpet, all the people shall shout with a great shout; and the wall of the city shall fall down flat, and the people shall ascend up every man straight before him. (Joshua 6:1-5 KJV)
In Joshua 6, we have a great historic event on how the people of Israel conquered the land of Jericho and possessed it. It was not them who possessed the land, but God. David said in I Samuel 17:46, “…the battle is the LORD’S…” So how does Joshua 6 could apply to our daily living?
We do have the wall of Jericho in our lives and need to take it down. It’s just not enough to pray a sinner prayer to conquer our sins and be reunited with Jesus Christ. By the way, when you’d repeat a sinner prayer through somebody’s words, it would not be a sincere prayer to God. We’d have to use our own words to repent our sins to Him and invite Him to our own life. There is no sinner prayer formula. It’s just between you and God.
The wall I’m talking is about our wills or our lusts that block away from having a personal relationship with God. We have been defeated by the ways of world that our nation turns itself to pagan nation. We need to break our walls down, so God could reunite with us and govern this nation. We need to break our walls down, so that parents can unite with their children and live together. We need to break our walls down to avoid God’s judgment. I don’t believe that terrorists didn’t decide to attack us on September 11th, 2001. It was a wakeup call from God. We had been astray from God that we lost to stay in connect with God. In other words, we putted Him in a box.
God doesn’t need to lock Himself in the box. Instead, we need to break our walls down and sit on His knees as little children. That’s it. We don’t need to make this complication as the sinner prayer formula. That is what Roman Catholic Church doing, such as the Rosary Prayer or the Lord’s Prayer. Pray a repetitive prayer doesn’t guarantee us to enter the Heaven. Only by establishing a personal relationship with God through Jesus Christ guarantee us to get the eternal assurance to be with Him.
