Be Aware Dreamer
Topic: Prophets

If there arise among you a prophet, or a dreamer of dreams, and giveth thee a sign or a wonder, And the sign or the wonder come to pass, whereof he spake unto thee, saying, Let us go after other gods, which thou hast not known, and let us serve them; Thou shalt not hearken unto the words of that prophet, or that dreamer of dreams: for the LORD your God proveth you, to know whether ye love the LORD your God with all your heart and with all your soul. (Deuteronomy 13:1-3 KJV)

Within the short days, America kids and adults are celebrating Halloween. Without realizing the true meaning of what this holiday is, Americans are getting ready for their exciting and spooky night of the year. Truly, this holiday is nothing to do with Christianity, but it has to do with Satan and his demonic activities. “Many Christians think that Hallowe'en is an outgrowth of Christian tradition honoring the saints of the Church. While the name and most recent influences of this holiday appear to be Christian (the name means the evening before All Hallows, or All Saints Day), most of its customs are remnants of ancient pagan superstitions connected with the Druidic new year. The date was a joint festival known as Samhain (or Sowein), held in honor of the Celtic people's sun god and their Lord of the Dead.” (HALLOWE'EN: Should Christians Be Apart?)

Sadly, most today’s churches may decide to celebrate this ungodly holiday as the Christian holiday. Many churches open their doors for the youngsters enjoy the trick or treat in a safe environment. Whether the children are doing Halloween activities in the church or outside the church, the goal of the activities are remained the same: worshiping Satan on the eve of hallow night.

As I said previously, there are many false prophets and teachers out there, who may lead us to ungodly things. There are some preachers who say that if we’d give $1000 to TBN or Daystar, God will give you double of the blessing that you gave previously. This is out of the context. Yes, God can give us money, but He can give us more than money. He can give us healing to our sickness, spiritual insight, and more. But we need to build our relationship with Him first. God is not a genie of the lamp. Most today’s preachers may act like today’s false physics. Even though God gave some of us gifts of prophecy, we must use it wisely to help people.

God gave us the dream to see His plan for our lives. We can read about what God did to Joseph through his dream in Genesis. Even though Joseph learned the hard way, God opened the door for him to be the second commander of Egypt.

Do you have your relationship with the Heavenly Father? If not, I like to encourage you to develop your personal relationship with Jesus Christ today. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God. If you’d need further assistance, you can email me at mgjcwebminstries@mgjcweb.org or visit my ministries website at www.mgjcweb.org for further resources.

Prophecy to the Rebellious Leader
Topic: Prophets

Then Moab rebelled against Israel after the death of Ahab. And Ahaziah fell down through a lattice in his upper chamber that was in Samaria, and was sick: and he sent messengers, and said unto them, Go, enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron whether I shall recover of this disease. But the angel of the LORD said to Elijah the Tishbite, Arise, go up to meet the messengers of the king of Samaria, and say unto them, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that ye go to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? Now therefore thus saith the LORD, Thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. And Elijah departed. And when the messengers turned back unto him, he said unto them, Why are ye now turned back? And they said unto him, There came a man up to meet us, and said unto us, Go, turn again unto the king that sent you, and say unto him, Thus saith the LORD, Is it not because there is not a God in Israel, that thou sendest to enquire of Baalzebub the god of Ekron? therefore thou shalt not come down from that bed on which thou art gone up, but shalt surely die. (II Kings 1:1-6 KJV)

Over the last three to four months, I have been discussed on unpopular messages on sins and God’s judgment. Even though we may do not like to hear on the wrath of God on this world, it is still coming. Even though governmental scientists created the most hurricanes, God is still in control the path of hurricane. We all are numbered to leave this earth and spend in the eternity with God or in Hell.

As Elijah prophesied about King Ahaziah’s death, God has His schedule to end of our earthly lives. I know that the world is preparing to lead many people to the New World Order through technologies. About two weeks ago, the Free Lance Star newspaper showed an article on new communicator device that is attached and controlled by human’s tongue. This communication device is for the people with disabilities who have difficult to speaking. Even though this new device would be good to use for those have speech impairment, it also explained how far the technologies go that can connect to parts of human skins. It also explained us that how far the world is preparing for the appearance of the Antichrist. We are getting closed to that stage.

I do not think America would come to the point to realize that our country has been sinned against God until He would bring the judgment of fire. I understand that this is a harsh sentence, but it is the true. The reason why God numbered Ahaziah’s life was that he sinned against Him and led the nation to idolatry. September 11, 2001 tragedy was just beginning of God’s judgment on our nation.

Having revival meetings will not be enough to prevent us from God’s judgments. Many pastors think having several revival meetings mean to save the sinners. No! This is wrong way to have revival meeting. This has to do with believers. We need to regenerate ourselves before we’d do the mission to lead the lost souls to Jesus Christ. Let me say one fact about September 11 tragedy. After this tragedy event, about 34,000 American citizens turned to Islamic faiths. Why? Islamic leaders explained that their faiths were stronger than Christianity by destroying the World Trade Tower and Pentagon.

God doesn’t want let any of His people would face His wrath. But we let Him to punish us as Israelites faced forty years of God’s disciplines until their children reached the Promise Land. I do not like to receive bad prophecy from God before I’d die. I don’t know how many true prophets are living today, but when it’s time for God in action, He will bring true prophets to bring His words forth to the nation and individual at the last time.

What Would Happen if We Worship the Beast and the False Prophet?
Topic: Prophets

And the beast was taken, and with him the false prophet that wrought miracles before him, with which he deceived them that had received the mark of the beast, and them that worshipped his image. These both were cast alive into a lake of fire burning with brimstone. (Revelation 19:20 KJV)

Would you able to answer the question above? The Bible says many things about the hell and fallen angels. But we often don’t hear these topics of discussions in our churches.

In The Mark (Left Behind Series), Tim LaHaye and Jerry Jennkins wrote that if the person received the mark of beast accidentally, he or she can take it off. However, the Bible says that anyone cannot be reversed this process after the person would accept the mark of beast. The mark of beast is like a microchip that it can go in the human skins and it’s un-removable. This also would affect to the spirit of human in some kinds of way.

In Revelation 13:15-18 says, “And he had power to give life unto the image of the beast, that the image of the beast should both speak, and cause that as many as would not worship the image of the beast should be killed. And he causeth all, both small and great, rich and poor, free and bond, to receive a mark in their right hand, or in their foreheads: And that no man might buy or sell, save he that had the mark, or the name of the beast, or the number of his name. Here is wisdom. Let him that hath understanding count the number of the beast: for it is the number of a man; and his number is Six hundred threescore and six.” The “six hundred threescore and six” is 666.

If we decide to worship and follow the way of this technology economic living, then we would be heading to where the beast wants to go—that is Hell. Even today’s MTV direction is making many people into world fame, wealth, and power, and then they are fallen apart from their families. Do you know why some MTV artists are beginning to show on TBN? Either they are really saved by the grace of God through Jesus Christ and want to proclaim the message of hope, or they are trying to deceive us. We cannot be sure this until we’d read, listen, or watch their media reports.

Even God has His mark for our forehead eternity; it doesn’t mean we can receive the mark from Satan, too. Jesus told us in Matthew 6:24, “No man can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one, and love the other; or else he will hold to the one, and despise the other. Ye cannot serve God and mammon.”

Which team are you going to take? If you want to know Jesus Christ personally, please invite Him to your life by surrender your life to Him. Paul said in Romans 10:9-10, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” Or you maybe have experienced lukewarm relationship with God in the last couple months and want to come back to restore your relationship with Him, God will accept you who you are and reunite with you again if you are willing. There is no this kind of power that Satan has, except God.

The Prophetic Call
Topic: Prophets

And it shall come to pass afterward, that I will pour out my spirit upon all flesh; and your sons and your daughters shall prophesy, your old men shall dream dreams, your young men shall see visions: 29 And also upon the servants and upon the handmaids in those days will I pour out my spirit. (Joel 2:28-29 KJV)

God said that He will pour out His Spirit to all people to reveal His plan to them. For example, in Acts 2, we see the fulfillment of the prophecy in Joel of God’s Spirit being poured out. When we read Acts 2, the apostles received the gift of the Spirit to proclaim His message to the entire world. “And they were all filled with the Holy Ghost, and began to speak with other tongues, as the Spirit gave them utterance. (Acts 2:4).”

So how do some receive the gift of the prophecy and other do not? How can we hear the prophetic call from God?

We first need to understand that God has many gifts and He gives them severally. He gives us the same Spirit, but different gifts and receiving a prophetic calling is one of them. When God gives us a gift, we must obey His commands. Remember Jonah? God called him to go to Nineveh and proclaim His message to the people, but He refused to follow God’s plan (Jonah 1:1-3). If we disobey God’s call, we are misusing our gifts.

Our obedience to God is the key to successfully using His gift. Jesus says in John 14:10, “If you keep My commandments, you will abide in My love…” Obedience is also the key to living in God’s unconditional love. When a child obeys his parents fully, he receives great rewards from them, such as love and praise.

Unfortunately, we see some teenagers decide to part from their parents’ covering to live on their own, and commit acts that are not pleasing to them or God. Just like Jonah, they decide to go the other way rather than do what God directed to him.

Although we might think that hearing a voice in our minds is optional, hearing from God is not. We can ignore the voice of God, but He will keep trying to call us to fulfill His plan.

Not only do we need to obey God’s voice, we also need to have the desire to do the work for His kingdom. When God called Jonah, he didn’t have a desire to do the work that he was assigned to. Why did God call Jonah when he didn’t have a desire? In I Corinthians 1:27, Paul says that “…God hath chosen the foolish things of the world to confound the wise; and God hath chosen the weak things of the world to confound the things which are mighty...” God used Jonah to glorify Himself to the people of Nineveh . Even today, He uses people to reveal Himself, but the question is: Are we going to obey or disobey His calling?

While Jonah was captured by a big fish (Jonah 2), he realized that being disobedience didn’t help much. He spent three days and nights in the belly of the fish praying to God. He realized that God wasn’t joking around with him. Swallowed by a fish was Jonah’s punishment from God.

When God called Jonah a second time to go to Nineveh to proclaim His message, he obeyed the call, but argued with God. Although he knew the people of Nineveh would surrender to God, Jonah wished that God would punish them. Jonah didn’t like the idea of having a great revival in Nineveh because they were enemies of , but God asked him, “Is it right for you to be angry about the plan?” (Jonah 4:9a.)

What if God calls us to go to the prisons to proclaim His message to the hundreds of prisoners? We might think it is impossible to share His Word to unsaved people, but God won’t let us go to an unknown people without a plan. We might struggle with God as Jonah did, because we would like to be used more with well-known people.

Did Jesus command us to go to the well-known people to proclaim the Gospel? No! He didn’t. In Matthew 5:44, Jesus says that we need to love our opponents, bless those who don’t agree with us, do good to those who hate us and pray for those who spitefully use us and reject us. This principle may be hard for us to apply because we don’t do this as often. When we obey God’s command in unfamiliar assignments, God will reward us greatly.

To receive a prophetic gift doesn’t mean that we can do whatever we would like to do. Being a pastor or inspirational writer is a part of the prophetic calling from God. The pastor or inspirational writer must listen and obey what God has to say to us. This is the only way to begin to grow in our spiritual lives. If we don’t obey God, we are useless for the kingdom.

Jonah experienced this in a hard way; he didn’t fully understand what God had provided for him. Now, it is up to us to obey God’s calling. What will our response be when God calls us?
