Our Satisfactory
Topic: Goal
Not that I speak in respect of want: for I have learned, in whatsoever state I am, therewith to be content. -- I know both how to be abased, and I know how to abound: every where and in all things I am instructed both to be full and to be hungry, both to abound and to suffer need. I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. (Philippians 4:11-13 KJV)

Do we satisfy with what we have? Maybe or not? If we would not learn how to be content with everything we currently have, how God can bless us? In his book, The Rare Jewel of Christian Contentment, Jeremiah Burroughs said, "A carnal heart knows no way to be contented but this: I have such and such possessions, and if I had this added to them, and the other comfort added that I have not now, then I should be contented. But contentment does not come in that way, it does not come, I say, by adding to what you want, but by subtracting from your desires."

We need to let go some stuffs. Even though God created the earth for us to dwell in, He allowed Satan to rule over the earth for a while. And the earth is filled with all the unhealthy stuffs for our spirit men as well as our physical bodies, such as body tattoos, alcohol/drug, adult entertainment industry, and more. Although there is nothing wrong for having something more (new car, new house, clothes, etc.), we need to be content with what we have before adding them to our closets.

Jesus said in Matthew 6:30-32, "Wherefore, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which to day is, and to morrow is cast into the oven, shall he not much more clothe you, O ye of little faith? Therefore take no thought, saying, What shall we eat? or, What shall we drink? or, Wherewithal shall we be clothed? (For after all these things do the Gentiles seek:) for your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need of all these things." Being worrying for stuffs would divide our relationship with Jesus Christ. There are healthy and unhealthy ways to worry. Let us to be content with everything we have by trusting and relying on Jesus Christ.

How We Can Make Difference?
Topic: Goal

And of some have compassion, making a difference… (Jude 22 KJV)

I’m not going to ask you how you can make difference in this world? But how you can make difference in your world for Jesus’ name? There are many ways for we can make major change the world system to make better places. We can recycle soda cans and any disposable things for us to use for different things.

Sadly, there are many churches are making difference for the world, not the Gospel of Jesus Christ. It’s like Christians are not hunger and thirst for the truth of God. Apostle Paul declared in I Timothy 4:1-3, “Now the Spirit speaketh expressly, that in the latter times some shall depart from the faith, giving heed to seducing spirits, and doctrines of devils; Speaking lies in hypocrisy; having their conscience seared with a hot iron; Forbidding to marry, and commanding to abstain from meats, which God hath created to be received with thanksgiving of them which believe and know the truth.” We began to see that North Korea is getting ready to make a war against South Korea and United States. If this would hit at either of country, we would see the first phase of the World War III. We also began to see that our Christian nation is becoming weaker and turn it to the day of Sodom and Gomorrah.

We have two choices to make difference in this world—hunger for the Word of God or hunger for the world system. Our world economic system is not getting better until the Antichrist would come with his system, which it would lead us to eternal death in Hell. However, Jesus Christ died for our sins and resurrected on the third day to establish His relationship with us. One day, He will return to the earth to establish His government with us. In the meantime, we have to do His great commission by sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ to others and making His disciples.

Jesus said in Matthew 28:19-20, “Go ye therefore, and teach all nations, baptizing them in the name of the Father, and of the Son, and of the Holy Ghost: Teaching them to observe all things whatsoever I have commanded you: and, lo, I am with you alway, even unto the end of the world. Amen.”

Fear Not, Our God is within Us
Topic: Goal

Fear thou not; for I am with thee: be not dismayed; for I am thy God: I will strengthen thee; yea, I will help thee; yea, I will uphold thee with the right hand of my righteousness. For I the LORD thy God will hold thy right hand, saying unto thee, Fear not; I will help thee. (Isaiah 41:10, 13 KJV)

When the last time that you felt that you cannot do this or that because you were scared to overcome your fear? We all face fear sometime in our lives. If you say that you don't fear to anything, you either try to hide your fear to your people or you try to be braved. Either way, you cannot escape your weakest until you face it.

Sure, we would try to be braved as those who are in WWF Wrestling teams. But, do you know that people in WWF Wrestling have fear in each of their hearts? They cannot escape the fear of their lives when they face their opponents. If their opponents are getting tough to fight with, they would try to escape from their enemies.

We, too, have our wrestling opponents. His name is Satan. He tries everything to make us miserable in our lives. He even tries to let us to receive the power of fear. Unfortunately, he cannot defeat us easily if we have help from the Lord. God told His prophet not to fear, because He is the source of help. Paul says in Philippians 4:19, "...God shall supply all your need according to his riches in glory by Christ Jesus."

We don't have to fear to any new obstacles if we know that God is Johovah-jireh (the LORD will provide) (Genesis 22:14 KJV). Fear not because God promises to us that He will be with us always. Fear not, because we have the armor of God to defeat the world of darkness (see Ephesians 6:10-20). And fear not, because we have God who knows every details of our weaknesses and can give us more strengths to overcome any obstacle we would face.

That is why our God is the greater Counselor when we'd try to find help to meet our needs or any events that we are doing.

Breakthrough Fear to Reach Your Goal
Topic: Goal
But now thus saith the LORD that created thee, O Jacob, and he that formed thee, O Israel, Fear not: for I have redeemed thee, I have called thee by thy name; thou art mine. When thou passest through the waters, I will be with thee; and through the rivers, they shall not overflow thee: when thou walkest through the fire, thou shalt not be burned; neither shall the flame kindle upon thee. For I am the LORD thy God, the Holy One of Israel, thy Saviour... (Isaiah 43:1-3a KJV)
Do you have fear to overcome your obstacles to reach your dream? Sometimes, I'm scared if I'd face some new challenges to meet my goal. But you and I don't have to face some obstacles alone. God has promised us that He will be with us and walk with us through our problems just as He did with the people of Israel. So, we do not need to be fear. Of corse, we might have little fear if we'd try something new, just as Daniel's three royal friends feared as King Nebuchadnezzar put them into the furnace (Daniel 3). But Shadrach, Meshach, and Abednego didn't try to escape the king's command. Instead, they fully trusted on God to protect them from burning. As we read the rest of Daniel 3, Jesus showed up in their midst of their trials and save them and their skins.
If we fail the test to accomplish our goals, then we trust on ourselves and not upon God. As we looked back on 9/11/2001 tragedy, let's think back why this has occured in our land. We might understand the number 11 has specificant meaning that is related to appearance of the Antichrist, but there is another main reason of this national tragedy. We see many ugly lifestyle that people would decide to attach into their system, such as hook themselves up to fame, wealth, and power from the world. We see many porn industries are appearing on the media. We see that many young adults would decide to join with gang members. We see that many family members would decide to break the unity. These all are happening now, because we are all selfish to win our prizes, instead of trusting our Heavenly Father.
Do you like to reach for your goal? Do you want to overcome many new obstacles that are coming on your way? Do not fear. You just need to trust on God that He can walk with you to go through new obstacle courses in your life. That's why Peter said we can cast all our worries to God, because He cares for each of us (see I Peter 5:7)

Setting Your Goal
Topic: Goal
Set your affection on things above, not on things on the earth. (Colossians 3:2 KJV)
One of the most people may have hardest things to do is setting their personal goal above. Above? Setting their personal goal in God's Kingdom. We may have goals in our minds of what we'd like to do in near future. Often, we may fail to set our goals with God and fail to give Him the praise when He has given us the answers to our needs.
Throughout the Bible, God has shown us that His plans is greater than ours and He'd like to share His plan with each of us. In the Book of Revelation says, Jesus Christ will come back to the earth to rule over the whole earth with us for thousand years. Why? The earth was created by the work of God and had given to men to have dominion over the land. But we must have that goal as our Heaven Father has. We need to set our minds on things in Heaven.
We can set our minds on government, but our goals will not last. We can set our minds on the material possession, but it will soon become useless. We can set our beliefs in Allah, but we cannot get our communication through him. But when we'd set our hearts in God, who raised Jesus Christ from the grave, He will tell you and work with you the goal that He has planned for you to do. Why not put your earthly goal on aside and begin to set your plan with God.

Reaching for the Goal
Topic: Goal

I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air: But I keep under my body, and bring it into subjection: lest that by any means, when I have preached to others, I myself should be a castaway. (I Corinthians 9:26-27 KJV)

Do you have goal in your life that you'd want to grab on? We all do have certain goals that we would like to have in our lifetimes, but it's a challenge. Apostle Paul reminds us that reaching for the goal is not easiest thing to do. We do all have to work toward to our goal. Even Jesus reached for His goal, saving His people from their sins by dying on the Cross and rose again on the third day.

Everyday, we have a race--a race that the world would like to challenge our spiritual authority on. It could be to do with our jobs, lifestyles, finances, marriage, car, or with our loved ones. Whatever is, Satan would like to challenge us on certain object or person. Although we may have difficult to find that obstacle first, with God's help, we can face the challenge that our enemy sets before us.

Do you have goal to wish to grab on? Why not just trusting Jesus Christ to conquer your obstacle and grab on that victor that He prepares for you to have it.
