What is Biblical Christianity?: Introduction (Part III)
Topic: Christianity

Sanctify them through thy truth: thy word is truth. As thou hast sent me into the world, even so have I also sent them into the world. And for their sakes I sanctify myself, that they also might be sanctified through the truth. (John 17:17-19 KJV)

We need God in our nation more than ever in our generation. As we see, our nation has been corrupted by unconstitutional laws of God and our nation. And it's getting worse. Are we waiting for the wrath of God fall in our nation? We have tasted our national awakening when the two jets hit Pentagon and World Trade Tower by ISIS on September 11, 2001. There was a picture of the shadow of Satan in smoke come out from World Trade Tower. In fact, some biblical scholars believed that this was the sign of beginning of the end of world.

Again, we just had experienced 35 days of depressions when President Trump decided to close the government down partially for the boarder wall.   And it's still not over. Both President and Congress are compromising for our national security. I think that this is non-sense to see that our national Capitol is having civil war with their words of action; and decided to let 800,000 federal workers suffer with missing their paychecks. I think we would have another 4-8 difficult years, because of their disagreements. I'm not trying to say the Trump administration is doing good job.

As I mentioned, we need to bring God back in our nation. By doing this, we need to surrender our evil ways of living life to God. We may haven't heard the message of repentance of our sins enough today, because the most today's messages are basis on getting more blessings from God rather than how we can bless Him. As Paul warned us in II Timothy 4:3-4, "For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears; And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables." Some pastors, such as Joel Osteen at Lakewood Church in Houston, TX, don't use the Bible to do Sunday sermons, even though they may give reference the verses or paraphrasing it without opening the Bible.

I Peter 2:9 reminds us that we are "a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…" We are called by God to lead people into Jesus Christ. Being a child of God doesn't mean that you have to keep this religion for yourself. No! A man-made religion has many rules. For example, a counterfeit Christianity--Roman Catholicism, people have to go to the priest to confess their sins; and they pray to Virgin Mary. However, being a Christian, it's all about relationship. Jesus said in Matthew 22:37-40, "Thou shalt love the Lord thy God with all thy heart, and with all thy soul, and with all thy mind. This is the first and great commandment. And the second is like unto it, Thou shalt love thy neighbour as thyself. On these two commandments hang all the law and the prophets." God understand that we can't follow 613 or more laws in the Bible. Instead, He wants to have personal relationship with each of us.

Are your love ones and friends saved in the grace of God through Jesus Christ? The purpose of this study is to help you to become closer relationship with Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, "Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father's house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also." (John 14:1-3.)

If you are lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus Christ and want to know Him as your personal Savior and Lord of your life, please consider asking Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-10, "That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation." If you have done in your private room or workplace, then you need to tell to your friends or love ones about what you have done, so they may rejoice with you and want to have that relationship with Christ in their own life. There are many occults in the world, which do not know the love of God and His great plan for those who believe in Him. As it is written in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life."

What is Biblical Christianity?: Introduction (Part II)
Topic: Christianity

Then said Jesus unto his disciples, If any man will come after me, let him deny himself, and take up his cross, and follow me. For whosoever will save his life shall lose it: and whosoever will lose his life for my sake shall find it. (Matthew 16:24-25 KJV)

What does the Word of Christ mean to you? As we continue to define the biblical Christianity, I like to bring out that being a Christian is more than just religious ritual. Even though Roman Catholic Church is identified itself as Christian, we cannot earn ourselves by works to enter into God's kingdom. We need to establish our relationship with Jesus Christ in our lives. The Word of Christ is a central to a Christian's life.

Paul said in Romans 12:1 that we need to present our bodies a living sacrifice, holy, acceptable unto God. This means in order for us to follow Christ is that we need to surrender ourselves to God and be obedience to Him. Look at Jesus on His last week of ministries on Earth. Paul said in Philippians 2:7-8, "But made himself of no reputation, and took upon him the form of a servant, and was made in the likeness of men: And being found in fashion as a man, he humbled himself, and became obedient unto death, even the death of the cross." Although God doesn't want us to suffer as Jesus did, we also need to put our faiths into action.  We need to learn to deny ourselves and follow God. We need to take up His cross and follow Him. This means that we need to spend our quality time with God by mediating on His words, pray, and put our faiths into action. Faith without works is dead.

Romans 10:17 says, "So then faith cometh by hearing, and hearing by the word of God." The word faith means "…persuasion, i.e. credence; moral conviction (of religious truth, or the truthfulness of God or a religious teacher), especially reliance upon Christ for salvation…" It is more than just belief. We can have faith in God to go through the problems we face daily. Read Romans 10:17 again and see the second part. For us to build faith in God, we not only need to listen to God, but we need to hear and follow His Words. Having faith doesn't means that we need to listen to God in one ear and come out from other ear. This is why America churches so messed up today. Some today's pastors are trying to make God's messages as soft to their congregations' ears. There are many teachings and material resources on Christian living than gospel of Jesus Christ. Also, today's modern day bibles come from men and not from original manuscripts of God's Words, such as New King James Version, New International Version, New America Standard Version, New Century Version, Living Bible, and Message. These and other modern day bibles are trying to make comfortable for us to read them without conviction from the Holy Spirit, except the Authorized Version. Does this mean that you need to find another church that teaches from the King James Version? No, but you need to listen what the Holy Spirit tells us and do it. If the Holy Spirit may tell you to find another church that teaches from the original KJV, do it. It is like losing flavor of food from the original manuscript. KJV has a lot of flavors of words.

What is faith? We find clearly definition of  faith in Hebrews 11:1-3, "Now faith is the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. For by it the elders obtained a good report. Through faith we understand that the worlds were framed by the word of God, so that things which are seen were not made of things which do appear." We have to produce our faith in God. In Hebrews 11:6 says, "…without faith it is impossible to please him (God)…" Read through the Hall of Faith in Hebrews 11 and ask yourself if you have the faith in God, can you go through any obstacle of your life course? Jesus said in Matthew 17:20, "Because of your unbelief: for verily I say unto you, If ye have faith as a grain of mustard seed, ye shall say unto this mountain, Remove hence to yonder place; and it shall remove; and nothing shall be impossible unto you." There is nothing that God can't do if we put our faiths in Him. If you have disability or not, you can do anything if you put God in the center of your life. In upcoming blog, I like to bring the subject on our holy priesthood duty.

What is Biblical Christianity?: Introduction (Part I)
Topic: Christianity

If any man among you seem to be religious, and bridleth not his tongue, but deceiveth his own heart, this man's religion is vain. Pure religion and undefiled before God and the Father is this, To visit the fatherless and widows in their affliction, and to keep himself unspotted from the world. (James 1:26-27 KJV)

Have you thought to yourself about why we have so many religions throughout the world? Even though God created this world for us to dwell in, why do we have so many gods that people to worship. Just think about this. The world would be alright if there is only one supreme God and wouldn't have to face suffering in our lifetime. Wait a minute here. Did God create a perfect world in the beginning? If so, how come the world is so chaotic today?

The answer to that question is simple: we let Satan take over the world. We just cannot blame on Adam and Eve's mistakes, even though they started to refuse God's order (Genesis 2:16-17). We are accountable our own mistakes. God didn't make us as robots. Instead, He gave us freedom to choose which way we should live in this earth.

Even though there are many religions, we can put them in two religion categories--God vs. man's made religion. Since the world chaotic situation was broken out in Genesis 3, people had decided to create religions that fits to their needs rather than to trust Almighty God. Throughout this message series, we are going to expose things that most ministers are not bringing the subjects to their congregations, such as America dark secret society within colleges and universities and Roman Catholicism. I believe that America is facing God's judgement right now because we have not woke from the darkness situation. Our government is in mess right now because we walked away from its foundation as Christian nation. We are not sure why we have so many natural disasters occur in our nation, even though our government is behind most natural tragedy events with using a device is called HAARP (High Frequency Active Auroral Research Program). You can research on HAARP in your time.

Now, let's begin this exciting blog message series with this question: What is Christian? Today, most people believe that being in America, they automatically identify themselves as Christians. Why they think that? First, our country was founded by the biblical principal as well as freedom of religion. Second, America is fulfilled with churches of any denominations, such as Baptist, United Methodist, Church of God, Catholicism, and etc. You can find churches at anywhere. But, here is a problem. If you ask a person on the street that if he or she is a born again, that person would have a hard time to give you an answer to the question. That was same problem with Nicodemus had in John 3. Nicodemus was a Pharisee and he knew God's law, mostly Law of Torah. Let's read John 3:1-5:

"There was a man of the Pharisees, named Nicodemus, a ruler of the Jews: The same came to Jesus by night, and said unto him, Rabbi, we know that thou art a teacher come from God: for no man can do these miracles that thou doest, except God be with him. Jesus answered and said unto him, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born again, he cannot see the kingdom of God. Nicodemus saith unto him, How can a man be born when he is old? can he enter the second time into his mother's womb, and be born? Jesus answered, Verily, verily, I say unto thee, Except a man be born of water and of the Spirit, he cannot enter into the kingdom of God."

Nicodemus knew his stuff, but he didn't understand the life application of it. It is just not enough for us just read and understand the historical part of the Bible. Being a Christian is literally means a disciple or learner of Christ (Acts 11:26). Jesus said in John 8:31b-32, "If ye continue in my word, then are ye my disciples indeed; And ye shall know the truth, and the truth shall make you free." This is what Jesus said. First, we become students of the Truth. Second, we shall understand the truth, so we can apply to our lives. Then, the truth shall make us free. Free from what? From the devil scheme and from our own sins. We were all born from slavery of sins. Paul said in Romans 3:10-11, "As it is written, There is none righteous, no, not one: There is none that understandeth, there is none that seeketh after God." We were aliens from being citizens of God's kingdom. But God decided that He gave us His only begotten Son to pay our debt of sins on the Calvary. If you watched Passion, which I don't recommend for you watch it due to Roman Catholic Church doctrine, Jesus faced really horrifying death for our sins. It was very painful for us to watch the way Romans killed Him if we were there. Isaiah 53:4-5 says, "Surely he hath borne our griefs, and carried our sorrows: yet we did esteem him stricken, smitten of God, and afflicted. But he was wounded for our transgressions, he was bruised for our iniquities: the chastisement of our peace was upon him; and with his stripes we are healed."

Being a disciple is not mean that you are above God (see Matthew 10:24-25). Satan tried to be above God, but he failed miserably (see Isaiah 14:12-15). We are His people and cannot climb up above God. People of Babel tried to build a tower that could reach to heaven, but they failed (Genesis 11). This is why we have so many different languages today. God confused their language because of Tower of Babel that people tried to build. Instead, we need to give our wills to God and follow Jesus (Matthew 16:24).
