Now Playing: There is No Condemnation
Topic: Nation

There is therefore now no condemnation to them which are in Christ Jesus, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. For the law of the Spirit of life in Christ Jesus hath made me free from the law of sin and death. For what the law could not do, in that it was weak through the flesh, God sending his own Son in the likeness of sinful flesh, and for sin, condemned sin in the flesh: That the righteousness of the law might be fulfilled in us, who walk not after the flesh, but after the Spirit. (Romans 8:1-4 KJV)

Romans 8:1-4 is explaining that there is no need to worry about how God would judge to those who are His children. I’m not talking about God’s children under the Jewish nation, but in worldwide. The Jewish era didn’t begin until God formed twelve tribes of Israel under Jacob. This also means that our forefather and foremother, Adam and Eve, were not in certain ethical group. If we read the geology of Jesus in Matthew1, we found that some people did not come from the Jewish nation. That’s why Jesus said in John 3:16, “For God so loved the world, that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have everlasting life.”

However, if we would able to escape from God’s wrath, we need to walk by the Spirit and not by the flesh or the desire of our hearts. Living by our flesh can lead us to destruction of our spirits. First John 2:15-16 says, “Love not the world, neither the things that are in the world. If any man love the world, the love of the Father is not in him. For all that is in the world, the lust of the flesh, and the lust of the eyes, and the pride of life, is not of the Father, but is of the world.” As we see today, many people have lost to stay in touch with God. Some today’s church leaders have decided to blend with the world to make some mega churches. For example, after the death of Rev. John Osteen of Lakewood Church, we do not hear the solid biblical teaching from his son, Joel Osteen; instead, most of his teaching is basis on feel good messages for our flesh. There are a small percentage of Christian TV and radio programs that teach the solid truth of the Words of God.

I believe God is holding His judgment up against America because some churches may still proclaim the truth and try to walk by the Holy Spirit. I recently read an article on individual singer, who proclaimed to be a born-again Christian, and yet, he likes to play some really hard-rock satanic music. He thinks that being in America is becoming a Christian automatically. Unfortunately, he has wrong mindset. Either doing a good deed or being an American doesn’t guarantee us to be with Jesus Christ eternally. We have to establish our relationship with Jesus Christ and let the Holy Spirit leads us to live in this world.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God.
