Press Toward to the Year 2021
Topic: New Year

Brethren, I count not myself to have apprehended: but this one thing I do, forgetting those things which are behind, and reaching forth unto those things which are before, I press toward the mark for the prize of the high calling of God in Christ Jesus. (Philippians 3:13-14 KJV)

2020 has been challenged for all of us throughout the world. We would not guarantee what the year 2021 would bring, but we know who controls our future. Currently, it seems that the world is in choatic situation. We see that our government is fighting each other's throats. The media outlets don't tell the whole truth of current situations. Many riot groups are raging against the governments and trying to make change from original historical facts. And so on.

Even though we are in difficult situation, we must not give our faiths up. I understand that our state governors are doing no good by shutting businesses and services down due to Covid-19 (government made virus), but we must not give hope up. We know who hold our future. We know who will expose these global activities to the rest of world. We know that Satan has very limited time to make this world mess before Jesus will return to settle His government with us.

But in the meantime, we must stand and fight for the freedom that God gave all of us. Paul said in II Timothy 1:7, "For God hath not given us the spirit of fear; but of power, and of love, and of a sound mind." The question is: Are we going to fight continuously for our freedom or just let the government take over us?

I don't about you. I'm tired to stay at home for the most of time due to Covid. But I'm a fighter for the truth. Satan cannot let me down through news media outlets or lock me down into apartment. Most today's news reports are negative and basis on liberal-socialism agendas. We must heed what God says to us. We must act rather than just being stuck in your safe environment. We must read God's report rather than reading our newspaper. 2021 would be hard year, but the question is: Are you going to give up?

Seek the Kingdom of God
Topic: New Year

But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you. Take therefore no thought for the morrow: for the morrow shall take thought for the things of itself. Sufficient unto the day is the evil thereof. (Matthew 6:33-34 KJV)

Even though the origin of the New Year's Day arrived from the pagan religion, we need to seek God to start the Year 2017. Most preachers may tell us to sow money into their ministries, so God can bless us financially. That may be truth, but it's wrong idea for God can bless us. Jesus said that we don't need to worry about our future, because He can take care of us right now and the next day can take care by itself. We need too seek God's face rather than His hands. I don't like to watch televangelists TV-a-Thon on the first couple months of the year. They are asking for money to support their TV ministries. Even though churches need our financial support, God doesn't need our money, we need to obey His command.

I understand that we are in a difficult spot as President Obama recently has betrayed the people of Israel and our nation has allied with Palestinians before he would finish his presidency term. I don't know if Trump could restore from this tragedy. But there is nothing that God cannot do. He can do anything. But we need to pray to God to bring back our ally.

What is your agenda for 2017? The word "prosperity" means more than gaining worldly fame, wealth, and power. Jesus asked in Mark 8:36-37, "For what shall it profit a man, if he shall gain the whole world, and lose his own soul? Or what shall a man give in exchange for his soul?" Even we can have anything that this world has, but without Jesus Christ in our lives, it means that we don't have one-on-one relationship with Him. Instead, we will become trash to Him and we would end in Hell. God can bring prosperity to every parts of our lives--spiritually, physically, materially, health and wellness.

Let 2017 would be the best year of our lives.

Are you saved? Are your love ones and friends saved in the grace of God through Jesus Christ? The purpose of this article is to help you to become closer relationship with Jesus Christ. As Jesus said, "Do not let your hearts be troubled. Trust in God; trust also in me. In my Father's house are many rooms, if it were not so, I would have told you. I am going there to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am." (John 14:1-3.)

If you are lukewarm in your relationship with Jesus Christ and want to know Him as your personal Savior and Lord of your life, please consider asking Him to forgive your sins and invite Him into your life. Paul says, "That if you confess with your mouth, `Jesus is Lord,' and believe in your heart that God raised him from the dead, you will be saved. For it is with your heart that you believed and are justified, and it is with your mouth that you confess and are saved." (Romans 10:9-10.) If you have done in your private room or workplace, then you need to tell to your friends or love ones about what you have done, so they may rejoice with you and want to have that relationship with Christ in their own life. There are many occults in the world, which do not know the love of God and His great plan for those who believe in Him. As it is written in John 3:16, "For God so loved the world that he gave his one and only Son, that whoever believes in him shall not perish but have eternal life."

Tears of Rain for America
Topic: New Year

Confess your faults one to another, and pray one for another, that ye may be healed. The effectual fervent prayer of a righteous man availeth much. Elias was a man subject to like passions as we are, and he prayed earnestly that it might not rain: and it rained not on the earth by the space of three years and six months. And he prayed again, and the heaven gave rain, and the earth brought forth her fruit. (James 5:16-18 KJV)

What is your expectation for 2014? As we’d look forward to the New Year, I’d like to share some insights about why this nation needs tears of rain for 2014. Even though there are many preachers may preach on the end time prophecy, we’d need to understand fundamentally about why God judges His people first. It is sad to see that we do not hear on the message of gospel any more. Instead, most sermons that we from the pulpit hear is all about us.

No wonder why our nation is going deep into the Day of Sodom and Gomorrah. We hardly to find churches that teach from the King James Version of the Bible anymore. Nowadays, most churches use the modern day of the Bible versions, such as NKJV, NIV, MSG, NCV, NLT, and many other versions. These Bible versions may not come from the original Hebrew and Greek manuscript and may contain errors; mostly they don’t put emphasis heavily on sin, hell, Satan, and judgment of God. Yes, God is a loving and caring Father, but He is an ultimate Judge and He doesn’t tolerate our sinful acts go unpunished.

We cannot lead the nation without the right teaching of God. We are called to be priests. I’m not just talking about we need to take church leadership positions, but as representatives of God, we have responsible to share the love and messages of Jesus Christ to other people. Apostle Peter said in I Peter 2:9, “But ye are a chosen generation, a royal priesthood, an holy nation, a peculiar people; that ye should shew forth the praises of him who hath called you out of darkness into his marvellous light…”

Our nation needs spiritual rain and we cannot have the rain until we’d reunite with Him. We don’t know where God would take us in 2014, but that doesn’t mean we can relax and do nothing. We have work to do that God assigned to us (see Matthew 28:18-20). We can share the love and messages of God while we are in home, work, and other places we go.

As we walk into 2014, let’s pray and fasting for this nation would reunite with God. Even though our political leaders may not know what they are doing for America, we are responsible to lead them into the right direction. We need to be like weeping prophets as Jeremiah. We need to cry out for God’s direction, not ours.

God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Paul said in Romans 10:9-11, “That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation.” There is no sinner prayer formula. Instead, you just talk to God at where you are now. Secondly, I’d like to encourage you to find a good solid biblical teaching church and Christian friends. They can help you to build strong relationship with God. Brand New Journey
Topic: New Year

A new heart also will I give you, and a new spirit will I put within you: and I will take away the stony heart out of your flesh, and I will give you an heart of flesh. And I will put my spirit within you, and cause you to walk in my statutes, and ye shall keep my judgments, and do them. (Ezekiel 36:27 KJV)

Are you ready for another year of journey for the year 2013? Even though the passage related to the national birth of Israel, it also relevant to us today. Our nation needs to turn back to our Creator. We see today what we have been created to glorify ourselves rather than God. Many churches have been sold themselves out to other religions and created a brand new religion, such as Chrislam (Christianity + Islam). Many people had been killed by natural disaster, gunman, and etc. It was the saddest moment for the nation to see those 20 elementary children and 7 teachers died by the gunman at Connecticut on December 14, 2012. We also see that this nation is already turned into the days of Sodom and Gomorrah by legalizing same-sex marriage and other ungodly activities.

This nation has walked away from the family value that each of member would decide to go their own way. Either Republican or Democratic leaders have lost their contacts with their people and God to bring the peace in America. I don’t believe that solving our national economic crisis is not the solution to the problem, but we need our heart surgeries by turning ourselves to God.

God is willing to give us new hearts (minds) if we’d let Him. We do not need to belong to this world system. It’s hard to move ourselves away from the world system. God knows our struggles. We need to keep trust and rely on God to take us through this life journey. We don’t know what 2013 would bring us. But one thing for sure: God is ready to walk with us through this brand new year.

Do you want transform your life to spend eternality with Jesus Christ? God planned to send His Son, Jesus Christ, to us to pay our sins, so we can have free access to God and develop personal relationship with Him. Would you like to have personal relationship with God? If you’d like to know Jesus Christ as your personal Savior, I’d like to encourage you to do two simple things. First, confess your sins and invite Jesus Christ to your life. Start the New Year with God’s Words
Topic: New Year

Thy word is a lamp unto my feet, and a light unto my path. (Psalm 119:105 KJV)

It’s a good to begin this year with devote ourselves to spend the quality time with God. Even the last year was the worst time in the U.S. history, it doesn’t mean that Satan has the victory over Jesus Christ. We still have time to reunite with God and to do what He wants us to do to accomplish His plan for the world.

Last year, we began to see development of the One World Religion, which it was called Chrislam. Apostle Paul predicted that some believers may fall from faith and decide to follow the doctrine of demon (I Timothy 4:1). We also saw that many earthquakes were happening during 2011.

In the midst of these global events, we began to see that Jesus Christ would come near to establish His government on earth. It will not get any better until all the biblical prophecy would fulfill. This is why Luke didn’t finish the Book of Acts. The church era hasn’t finished until the whole world would hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Jesus says in Matthew 24:14, “And this gospel of the kingdom shall be preached in all the world for a witness unto all nations; and then shall the end come.” To do that, we’d need to be ready to share the gospel to others around us.

Are you ready to begin 2012 with God? If you are not ready to give your testimony of faith to your community, it’s not too late to recommit yourself to God. God is ready to come into your life and show you the path of life. Jesus just didn’t come to the world to pay all of our sins. He wanted to establish relationship with us.

Hopefully, you’ll have a happy new year and may God walk with you throughout this year and years to come.

Journey through Life
Topic: New Year

Verily, verily, I say unto you, He that heareth my word, and believeth on him that sent me, hath everlasting life, and shall not come into condemnation; but is passed from death unto life. Verily, verily, I say unto you, The hour is coming, and now is, when the dead shall hear the voice of the Son of God: and they that hear shall live. For as the Father hath life in himself; so hath he given to the Son to have life in himself; (John 5:24-26 KJV)

Living a life on earth is a journey toward our eternal home. God puts us on this world temporary until He would take us to home. Most people would believe that our homes are the only on earth. However, we are only journeying through life.

Nowadays, most Christian leaders are teaching us how God bless us by gaining material possession. Even though God could bless us through material possession, we should seek His face, not His hands, to get closer relationship with Him. In this passage, Jesus said that whoever hears His word have everlasting life. Words of our mouths have powerful weapons to deliver to other people. They can kill other peoples’ lives or build life. We have choices what kind of words out from our own mouth.

Currently, our U.S. Congress is trying to put down the Obama Healthcare, because the Americans believe that this healthcare is destroying the American lives, especially lives of unborn children. Once Americans selected Barak H. Obama as the next U.S. President, it will be hard to give him advice to change his new legislations. We let him to sign the Military Gay Rights and socialism version of healthcare. Only we can change the America back as it was is through the power of prayer. We need to put the name of God in communities, schools, and our governments. We cannot change anything until we’d reunite with Him first.

Most TV evangelists would believe that December 21, 2012 would be the beginning of the Last Day. I do not believe this date as the day of Armageddon, but we should be ready for the Second Coming of Jesus Christ. We should continue to walk through our journey of lives. Even though Jesus died for our sins, it doesn’t mean that we have nothing to pay. We have to live for Him and continue to do His mission that He gave us to do (Matthew 28:18-20). Will you continue to walk through journey of life since Jesus began His journey for you to do?

Journey with God
Topic: New Year

Rise ye up, take your journey, and pass over the river Arnon: behold, I have given into thine hand Sihon the Amorite, king of Heshbon, and his land: begin to possess it, and contend with him in battle. This day will I begin to put the dread of thee and the fear of thee upon the nations that are under the whole heaven, who shall hear report of thee, and shall tremble, and be in anguish because of thee. (Deuteronomy 2:24-25 KJV)

How was your life journey in 2007? Did you have a successful journey? Or was your journey a hard? Even though my journey was hard ones in 2007, I had a great adventure of living my life for Jesus Christ.

The number seven is the completion. Even though the last year was the year of completion, it does not mean that God has finish with us yet. He still has a greater plan for us than what He gave us in 2007. Hebrews 11:40 says, “God having provided some better thing for us, that they without us should not be made perfect.” Do you want to receive something better than what you already received? If you want something better, then you begin to take new journey with God.

The number eight means the new beginning. We need to begin something new and refresh ourselves to continue what we have been doing. We need to refresh our spirits with the Words of God to keep connect with Him daily. We need our spiritual food to strength our spirits in Christ, just as newborn babes need milk to grow his life (cf. I Peter 2:1).

If you completed your life journey in 2007, then consider to take another new life journey with God. Even though this year life journey would have many challenges for us to face, God can take us through the obstacles to reach the prizes. Paul said in I Corinthians 9:24-26, “Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. And every man that striveth for the mastery is temperate in all things. Now they do it to obtain a corruptible crown; but we an incorruptible. I therefore so run, not as uncertainly; so fight I, not as one that beateth the air…”

Ready, Set, and Go
Topic: New Year

Know ye not that they which run in a race run all, but one receiveth the prize? So run, that ye may obtain. (I Corinthians
9:24 KJV)

As we are getting come near to the brand new year, it is the time for us to make a New Year resolution. What would your New Year resolution be for the year 2007? Some of us may hear from pastors expressed that the year 2007 would be the great year. Although we don’t know the year 2007 would be great or not, we need to seek God for the direction before we would run in a race to grab the New Year resolution.

As I said before, we all are in a race to reach our goals. Apostle Paul told us that we have to run to try to obtain the prize. We have to exercise and make our bodies workout to get into the finishing line of race. This is the same method that Paul also tries to teach us as we’d mediate on God’s Word each day. We need to have continual communication with God through prayer, meditating on His Words, and fasting. Fasting doesn’t need to be related to food, but we need to stay away from something that we’d desire to have for while, such as TV, computer, radio, etc., and begin to seek on God’s face. Jesus said in Matthew 6:33, “But seek ye first the kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto you.”

Some of us may have wrong mindset of the New Year resolution. For example, some people may decide to loose weight from 280 lbs. to 150 lbs. for the next 12 months. The New Year resolution is not about self-serving, but it’s about God. Right now, there are many preachers who teach more on self-serving Christians than how we can worship God. Their definition of God’s blessing is all about earthly wealth, fame, and power. Of course, God can bless us to these earthly things, but it’s more than just receiving earthly treasure.

Genesis 1 tells us that God created all the things in this world and He blessed it. John 1 Colossians 1 tell us that if Jesus Christ didn’t create anything in this world, the earth would not be existed and we will not be alive. He cannot share His blessing with us if the earth wouldn’t exist.

Why not let us set our own new goal on aside and begin to give honor and praise God for the New Year and what would He be going to do in your life. The Year 2007 could be the best of the year in your life.
